Former terrorists Walid Shoebat, Kamal Saleem and Zak Anani addressed cadets at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, during their annual political forum. They shared their experiences as terrorists and helped cadets understand the Islamic fundamentalist mind set. During the event a Jordanian college student, identified as Omar Khalifa of Metro International, approached Kamal Saleem and spoke to him in Arabic, "you are an enemy of Islam and you must die." The incident was reported to Military Police, who investigated Khalifa's threat.
"The men receive threats of this nature all of time and we take each one very seriously," said Keith Davies, Executive Director of the Shoebat Foundation. "That is why each of the men live in seclusion."
Numerous media outlets (New York Times, the Associated Press, The Colorado Springs Gazette, the Rocky Mountain News) did not report on the former terrorists' message, but instead focused on the [inaccurate] media statements distributed by CAIR (Council for American Islamic Relations), in an all-out campaign to discredit the speakers credentials and background.
"We have all been told that Islam has been hijacked by extremists,” said Walid Shoebat. "Yet CAIR, who professes to be ‘Moderate Muslims’ are the Three Ex Terrorists biggest critics, and pull out all stops to try and keep out voices from being heard. I beg to ask the question; if CAIR is indeed moderate as they claim, then WHY are they not supporting our campaign against 'extremists? If they are sincerely against the Fundamentalist Muslim agenda why do they appose us?"
According to the Air Force Academy's public affairs office CAIR spokesman, Ibrahim Hooper, contacted them numerous times criticizing the scheduling of the three men, and requesting an opportunity to have a CAIR representative share with cadets information about the Islamic faith. The Academy informed Hooper that the event was not about religion, but about terrorism, and he denied CAIR's request.
Each of the men can document their stories and identities. Shoebat has spoken at more than 50 events, including many prestigious organizations and venues. He has also addressed audiences at numerous government agencies, who always scrutinize his credentials and background, and they have cleared him each and every time. He has spoken at the National Constitution Center, Columbia, Stanford and Harvard universities, the Department of Homeland Security, and the FBI Academy, to name only a few. The advisory board of the Walid Shoebat Foundation is comprised of Generals and other senior officers from the U.S. Military. ...

CAIR is a Trojan Horse for islam and should be expelled from the USA. Their goal - professed publicly - is for islam to one day rule over America. There can be no coexistence between America and islamic jihadis.

Walid Shoebat was supposed to blow up Israeli children. He saw them and couldn’t do it. Instead he detonated his bomb without harming anyone. Later he converted to Christianity.

I read from another source that the Musnut was from another college - Metropolitan State perhaps (no insult to Met State intended if I’m incorrect). The Academy is a great institution, but has recently been infected by the bacteria of liberalism (yes it exists there...usually in the pablum academic departments, such as Political “Science,” etc). Those with long memories will recall that a fighter pilot, who had received a master’s degree compliments of Uncle Sam, and who was teaching in the Political “Science” dept. (I believe) decided that he was a conscientious objector following an assignment to Viet Nam. So goes those of weak or no mind. And, thanks to our dhimmicrats, they’re lurking in the military. They’ve also had a wife of a Mexican officer do a hit and run - killing a general’s wife. Wanna guess what happens?

Correction, he’s from Metro International - one can only guess the depth of lack of intellectualism that exists at that institution. By the way, each year the Academy hosts a national assembly at which the USAFA students get a much, much broader spectrum of political ideas than do those at Harvard, Yale, or Columbia. Students from other schools are invited, and many of them stay with the cadets. I’ll criticize the Academy, but it’s light years ahead of our Ivy League schools....believe me.

My point is, if you know the Military, they usually have former terror insiders speak at close door meetings for special ops, or special teams.
This was a more open forum, I find it a bit unusual.
So the people some of them may have compromised in their bad boy days or someone who might have lost family members would be pre-screened, harder to do in open forums, meaning where the press has access.
Just a thought?
Those who hate and despise Western culture should not be allowed to live in the West. CAIR and all its fellow travelers should be made to return to their ancestral Islamic hell holes and stay there.

Admittedly, the article seems to have been written in a purposefully confusing way, to make Khalifa (unfortunate name, which happens to mean "to succeed") out to be the Islamist and the damned terrorists out to be the moderates.

Dude, the guys speaking at the event are not terrorists. They are all converts to Christianity, and very pro-Israel and pro-American. They are educating people about what they used to do. I know Shoebat has his own pro-Israel foundation and has appeared in many documentaries critical of Islam.
And any one who does not vote to keep out hitlery or "O" is voting for the takeover.

Whalid Shoebat IS an ex PLO terrorist who renounced terrorism, converted to Christianity and has published and lectured in the West warning of the threat of radical Islam and and its front groups including CAIR. He has put himself in extreme jeopardy and has been the subject of many threats and actual plots on his life.
Khalifa's threat against Whalid was for daring to make a stand against the Jihadist. It also revealed Khalifa to be another soldier of Jihad by other means welcomed to our country by American academia and the U.S. State Department.

The student is in this country as a participant of the Fulbright Scholar program ....his ASS*** should be immediately sent back to his country of origin...and the Fulbright Scholar program sponsers in the State Department should be advised to immediately introduce tighter screening for participants to be invited to this country.....
But he was allowed into this country under some program...and he should be send back to Jordan....they would know how to deal with him...
