Let's assume everything you say about your X and P (χ and ρ) is spot on, I'm not embarrassed to say I haven't a clue. Afterall my Greek is just a little rusty. SARC/ {{{rolls eyes}}}
Nevertheless, let's fast forward a millennium or so to the contemporary times of today...in THESE TIMES, using Xmas [as you did] is the secular progressives attempt to eliminate Christmas from Christmas.
Im betting you have never admitted you were wrong. Ever....That was so easy, I wish I had been in Vegas.
Christmas from Christmas = Christ from Christmas
Then, a Coin ~ with the X and P clearly visible.
BTW, this is called a LABARUM
And, some more of these things:
That last one was the LABARUM adopted by the Emperor Constantine, famous for saying: εν τούτω νίκα
This translates into the better known "In hoc signo vinces"
This particular bit of Christian symbology is called Chi Rho ~ which, in a Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) will almost invariably mean the "cradle roll" class for young children. They learn to draw it with crayons in fact. That's just in case you find yourself in such a place someday and are mystified about why the kiddies seem to be drawing what you believe to be the very symbol of modern Godless secular humanism itself.
Christianity had it first and I'll be doggone if I'm going to let a bunch of modern shiftless no-count trashy people take it away without a fight.
Uh huh.
