He has energized a lot of people around the world. And so I think he is worth listening to and seeing what he stands for. A Van Halen album may be worth listening to, but that doesn't mean I want David Lee Roth for President!

I can’t say I’m surprised, considering what an opportunistic mediocrity Powell has proven to be. Nonetheless, it seems that McCain is exactly the kind of candidate he’s support - moderate Republican (i.e. RINO), strong military history.

Remember back in 1996 when many establishment conservatives such a Bill Kristol and Bill Bennett were trying to force Powell on us as the GOP Presidential nominee.
Many of us thought Powell was not a true conservative in any way.
We were right.
