It's a typical morning in the court system designed to protect California's children from abuse and neglect: Justice is being strangled by the clock.

I suppose some will make the case that many of the parents in the article are dysfunctional people who shouldnt be having children in the first place. But do we really want the state in to oversee how we raise our children? A lot of Internet chatter suggests that many CPS workers are not the brightest knifes in the set. Then you hear of
swat teams being used to break down doors of families if a doctor suspects abuse. Growing up in the 50s, 60s and 70s, I dont know anyone in my age group who are worse off because we did not have law enforcement parenting our parents.

Why do the “courts” have ANYTHING to do with family issues? It is clearly better for society, and more Constitutional, to let nature take its course in these cases. Hands OFF, Big.Gov!

“to let nature take its course in these cases.”
Even if that course results in the death of an innocent child?
Yeah, right.
