“How to Do Drag”(Transsexual & same-sex weddings for 14yr olds)
California Catholic Daily ^ | February 10, 2008 | staff

The San Francisco-based Gay-Straight Alliance Network is urging its clubs on high school and middle school campuses across California to “get active and get engaged” in the 11th annual Freedom to Marry Week.

[[MarryWkLogo.jpg]]The Jan. 30 GSA Network News encouraged students to join the nationwide event, which begins today and runs through Feb. 16, because “a fundamental human right -- the right to marry those whom we love -- is denied to LGBT people.” Among the “more than 1000 rights and benefits [that] come with legal marriage, but are currently denied to LGBT people” is “the right to provide two legally recognized parents for our children,” said the News.

“Freedom to Marry Week is a time for GSAs to celebrate and share stories, reflect on the values of equality and love, while also engaging our peers in the movement for equality and fairness,” said the News. Besides adding their “perspective and voices as youth to the dialogues happening both within and around the marriage equality movement,” GSAs can engage in other consciousness raising activities, said the News.

These activities include staging mock weddings. “Get everyone's attention by having a marriage ceremony!” said the News. “Go all out and decorate your school hallway, courtyard or even the cafeteria with posters giving information about marriage rights and have the characters use their vows to speak out about marriage equality. You could also have a ‘wedding reception’ afterwards with cake, and get your guests to share their thoughts about the issue of marriage equality for all by making a toast.”

Other activities include inviting “youth who are children of LGBTQ parents to speak out about their families to classes or during lunchtime talk session” or holding “Teach-ins” -- “an open meeting to teach other students about the issue of marriage equality, the history of marriage, and how they can take action in the movement.”

Among the Freedom to Marry Week activities organized by the “gay and non-gay partnership,” Freedom to Marry in California will include statewide Valentine’s Day Marriage Counter Events at the offices of county clerks throughout the state.

“Expression, Not Suppression,” on Feb. 9 in Fresno, is another event for “LGBTQI and Straight Ally youth, ages 14-23.” The free event will include speakers, workshops, “time to mix-it-up with local activists, an impressive drag show and an amazing Freedom to Marry Dance Party to end the day!!!” Workshops will include “Safe Sex,” “How to Do Drag,” “Trans 101,” “Understanding Sex and Spirituality,” and “Feel Yourself.”

Sadly, I don’t expect they will get their overdue rain of fire until after their deviance has inflicted a mortal wound on all of America.

Aren’t there laws against teaching this to minors?

two legally recognized parents for our children,” said the News.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

If marriage is a social construct, and having TWO parents for children the same “social construct”, then why not 10 parents or 20? Why have people for parents even?

The following is coming soon to a government school near you.

Guess what? Remember. This could not happen unless lot of "good" teachers cooperate with its implementation. It is sad, but lot of "good" teachers will do nothing meaningful to stop it.

In California it is now the law ( SB777) that it MUST be taught to minors. (Coming soon to a government school near you.)

It is an upside down government school world, isn’t it?

And any student who dares express a differing view will be punished. This is not paranoia, just what always happens.

I think they need to be MOCKED big time.

So we need our side to sponsor additional outrageous mock marriages.

1) BROTHER AND SISTER MARRIAGE.
2) FIRST COUSINS MARRIAGE.
3) MARRIAGE WITH A GOAT.
4) MARRIAGE WITH A DOG.
5) POLYGAMOUS MARRIAGE. 10 GUYS and 1 GIRL and the reverse.
6) GROUP MARRIAGE. 5 GUYS and 5 GIRLS.
7) MARRIAGE WITH A SLUG.
8) MARRIAGE WITH A TWO YEAR OLD.
9) MARRIAGE WITH A GRANNY.

and state the negative consequences of each.

Oh no...but there ARE laws...like those which make the Boy Scouts hate groups for rejecting this madness. And laws like preventing Christian prayer in these places.

How about a counter balance week of Marriage and the Teachings of the Catholic Church.
With Celebrations of procreation through the sanctity of Marriage.

It’s fun being monogamous in Marriage.

With a celebration of a traditional Bride and Groom in an “actual” wedding ceremony.

Practicing Natural Family Planning complete with a how to kit!
