PUTIN FOR PRESIDENT...OF THE UNITED STATES
Asia Times ^ | January 10, 2008 | Spengler

Flying across the vast Russian plain in 1944, the future French president Charles DeGaulle cursed the destiny that made him a Frenchman; if only he could rule a country the size of Russia, he mused, think of what he might accomplish! A similar thought must have occurred to Vladimir Putin, the most talented political leader of our time: what might he have done at the helm of the world's only superpower, instead of salvaging the hulk of the defeated Soviet Empire? Why not give him the chance? Watching the last round of American political debates, it occurred to me that it's time to think out of the box

No. Russian Nationalists are NOT OUR FRIENDS. They are only slightly less noxious then the Muzzies.

Nothing would make me happier than to see Putin humiliated (and the idiots who support him) in the near future.

With everyone going off the reservation over McCain and either not voting or saying they will vote for Hillary, we may very well see the beginning of a Putin style Executive Branch. Hillary, Pelosi and Reed can make the kind difference in our lives that we can never correct.

Well, if he was an AMERICAN nationalist, it might not be so bad...

Too bad none of the current candidates are American nationalists...

What percentage of the vote would Osama bin laden get for President of the US if one of the two major parties ran him for office. And let him use his billon $$$ for non stop campaiging. I bet he would get 35%. If after two nukes killed a million Anericans he would still get 15%. Any thoughts?

Okay there is that small problem...Putin is a RUSSIAN nationalist. Also, even if he became a Yankee Doodle Dandy and learned to speak Level Five Mid Western English, he wouldn’t be allowed to run under the U.S. Constitution without Amendment...So I guess we are back to square one. I do like his 13% income tax for all wage earners.

A Hildbeast or Osama bin Obama neo-Communist regime is why I’m so desperate in looking for a leader! John McCain is doomed to go down in flames against whoever the Democommies run. The conservatives are gonna stay at home and Leftards aren’t gonna vote Stalin Lite when they can get Stalin Heavy. Maybe we can draft Petraeus and do a Surge against our home grown Al Qaeda?

The only real conservative Republican with enough name recognition to bring the party back together and win an election was driven from Washington in shame by the media in 1993 and by those who wouldn't stand up for him back in 2000 when he tried unsuccessfully to get his only presidential campaign off the ground. He didn't even lift up his head or hand this time around. What we let happen to him is something we all should be ashamed of. Who do you think I'm talking about?

I do like his 13% income tax for all wage earners.

I like the flat tax as well. ...but 10%, and combined with a massive reduction in the welfare state. ...and the elimination of various other taxes -- estate, marriage, etc.

This is hilarious. I could just imagine( barely) Putin ordering a draft and forcing HS age flunkies into the military if they don’t pass their next years exams. I could see the guy enforcing military law, and lowering the minimum wage, of course most the commies, like Pelosi, all the socialit tree huggers, Berkely would become Moscow U West....the rest of the commies would be retired to the Caspian or Perm, live in their two bedroom dacha with intermittant heat in winter as Putin plans atacks on Israel with Ahmadinajad, Syria and the other Arab nations he’s toe licking. No way our lax Americans would be able to live under the new Czar of Russia. That includes me.

Are you speaking of Putin? Actually he’s more of a Russian Nationalist who favors certain elements of the business community, although tis true he was a member of the Communist Party and KGB in his younger and foolish days of youth. Also, I’ve heard Putin has converted to Christianity and admires Czars like Peter The Great. Yes, by our standards a very unpleasant character with much blood on his hands -— Nevertheless a leader who wants what’s best for his country -— Unlike the likely next President of the USA, Osama bin Obama, who is beginning to look like a black Hitler after the destruction of the Republic:

http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/02/obamas_politics_of_collective.html

So would it be better to have a Nationalist strongman as leader who is willing to work within the system for the greater glory of the Republic, or a raving Nazi like Obama who wants to change everything in the country?

What happens when the US national debt, $9,247,724,759,739.38 exceeds the US economy?

If either the Hildabeast or Osama bin Obama get elected...especially Obama — you’re going to have STALIN, because both are hardline Marxists in their heart of hearts. If the only option is someone like Putin, a hardline Nationalist like Franco, I would opt for the Putin/Franco.

But the reality is that at best we get “Stalin Lite” a.k.a. John McCain who is so stupid as to believe that Global Warming is NOT a hoax, and is willing to work with the Democommies to end capitalism.

Your right so was Stalin. Heard the Iron-man was a seminarian and studied for the cloth before he became the world’s prime killer of humans.

Have any evidence that Stalin ever practiced Christianity after he left the seminary? As far as I know he picked up a new non-Christian faith and never deviated from that.

Sort of like calling Reagan a Democrat because he was one once.

You’re right. He never practiced anything but Orthodox Christianity. After leaving the seminary, his new non-Christian faith became Communism. Certainly he never looked back.
