As Dangerous As George Bush
DSCC - Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee News letter | 14 Feb 2008 | Wes Clark

Posted on 02/14/2008 11:54:35 AM PST by Rick.Donaldson

DSCC - Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Dear Rick ,

If you don't think John McCain is just as dangerous in the White House as George W. Bush, think again.

McCain will not reverse the foreign policy mistakes of George Bush. He is content to leave us in Iraq, saying it'd be "fine by me" if we were in Iraq for another 100 years; he is rash on using military force with Iran. He overplays the military card and doesn't seem to appreciate that the real strength of the nation lies in our economy and in our values.

We have to be sure we have a Congress that will support a Democratic president but also one that, in the event of a John McCain presidency, has enough horsepower to ensure he can't continue the policies of George W. Bush.

We can't just triumph over John McCain in the race for the White House. We must also defeat every Republican senator who supports Bush and McCain and believes in continuing a war that 64% of the American people are vehemently against - people like Norm Coleman in Minnesota, Susan Collins in Maine, and Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky.

The DSCC is working overtime to expand our narrow 51-49 Democratic majority so they can either push through the agenda of a Democratic president or act as a firewall against the radical policies of a President John McCain. And with the GOP consolidating their national efforts now, the DSCC has got to have the support of committed Democrats early and often.

As a military man, I know and respect the use of force.

I also know it's not enough to keep us safe.

But that's not the way John McCain and his acolytes see it. Since 9/11, they have taken the very real threat of terrorism and turned it into a rallying cry for military adventurism. Their paranoia runs so deep that Sen. McCain has now taken to calling Islamic terrorism the "greatest evil ever faced" by the United States.

This nation triumphed over Nazism and Communism once before and I have no doubt that the bin Ladens of the world will eventually rue the day they challenged the United States. But this constant fear mongering and refusal to change course in Iraq is making it more difficult to defeat our enemies.

American troops have done everything that's been asked of them and more in Iraq and Afghanistan. But the Army and Marine Corps are stretched to their breaking point because George Bush has refused to engage in the type of diplomacy that could tamp down hostilities and ease the strain on our military.

And John McCain and any Republican senator who supports his presidential candidacy are offering more of the same. And they have got to go. You can make it happen.

I have every expectation that America will have a Democrat in the White House next January, and when that happens, I know he or she will begin bringing American troops home from Iraq with honor.

But nothing is for certain in politics. And while Democrats battle to retake the executive branch, we must work just as hard to expand our majorities in the United States Congress.

The DSCC is on the front lines of the fight for the Senate every day. And today, they need you.

Sincerely, Gen. Wesley Clark

I was watching Kudlow yesterday. He flashed a list of the 10 Obama priorities. All of them were unbelievably naive and liberal. The one that caught my eye though was that he wants to triple the minimum wage. Can anyone say “Depression?”

Now THAT is dangerous.

I remember the FR posters making fun of the Dems when they increased the minimum wage by saying, “Why not increase it to $10?” Here’s a guy who wants to increase it to $22, and he is not joking.

Ashley Wilkes is at it again trying to prove his relevance.

Wasn't he removed from command, (i.e. fired), anyhow?

OK, so let’s elect one of the two socialists/communists that the Dhims are going to nominate... that’ll make us “safe”...

What simply floors me is that the left/Dhims express their support for any socialist proposal that their candidates put forth,

but will freak out if you tell them that you don’t support socialism.

“Well, I’M not a socialist!”

‘Third World War’

General Wesley Clark, Nato’s supreme commander, immediately ordered 500 British and French paratroopers to be put on standby to occupy the airport.

But General Clark’s plan was blocked by General Sir Mike Jackson, K-For’s British commander.

“I’m not going to start the Third World War for you,” he reportedly told General Clark during one heated exchange.

Why raise the minimum wage in America? If you want to keep low income labor from flooding our market and keeping salaries down, force the rest of the world to pay a living wage.

Go UN go! < /s >

The Dhimmicrats liked McCain when they crossed party lines to vote for him in open primaries.

The Dhimmicrats liked McCain when they defended him from the Trotskyites and Maoists of so called Conservative Talk Radio. You know the Boss Tweed/Huey “Kingfish” Long - like Rush Limbaugh and that ilk?

If you need some good arguments as to why socialism is evil, go here:

http://www.renewamerica.us/columns/creech/070322

You can use the direct biblical references for those so inclined, or adapt them to “ethical” references for those not inclined to take God’s word as authority.

I dont know, but since Wes Clark knows, lets put a sign around his neck that reads "Diplomat", and send him into Taliban and/or Al Qaeda held territory.

If you don't think John McCain is just as dangerous

The premise is what damns John McCain. The Democrats feel the pressing need to speak to their colleagues assumptions: John McCarthur is "not as dangerous" as George Bush. Since George Bush didn't appear to care at all about sealing the borders or reducing spending or correctly identifying the enemy (Islam), that means that John McCain is pretty soft indeed.

After six months of President Barak Obama, I suspect you’ll miss George W. Bush. And you’ll regret not voting for McCain.

The simple fact is McCain is the tough leader we want in the executive office, where the power of that office will change the dynamics of what has happened in both Houses of Congress these last years. McCain will have the unique powers of the Presidency to house-train the Rats. He knows their treachery and can play their game.

The media is keeping a big secret about the consequences of a Obama or a Clinton presidency. They know that the American public has no clue of the consequences of a DemonRAT in the executive office. With both the Senate and the House controlled by the DemonRATs, the consequences will be stunning. We will have a socialist/communist takeover of this nation. This is the big secret that the media is keeping very quiet.

When the DemonRATs take over the government, all effective means to oppose them will be eliminated by force of law. Political dissent will be squashed. The Internets will be taxed and free speech on such sites as the Free Republic will be terminated. Talk Radio will be stopped. Should I go on?

The ignorant American people will look blindly on as more and more of their lives become controlled by the government. We will sink under the yoke of communism and it will take generations to take back our freedom.

Gone will be the prosperity we have enjoyed these golden years of the Republic.

The fools who worry about the “danger” of President Bush or a President McCain are turning the focus away from the real monster waiting in the wings to subjugate the American people under the yoke of communism.

Wesley Clark is a Gorge Soros' stooge. Because of this association, he is also part of the conspiracy of a shadow party (CREW and the Open Society Institute) working to take down our Constitution and replace our republic with a Marxist system.

George Soros is also heavily involved with the Hillary Clinton campaign.

Actually, if that's on Obama's priority list, that would be a good thing for us. There are almost certainly some halfway-sensible Democrats in Congress who would realize that tripling the minimum wage would be an instant disaster that could completely undermine socialism's credibility. If Obama picks as his priority items things he can't even get through a Democrat Congress, that will be good for us indeed.
