so you prefer Hillary rodHAM or Hussien Obama then ! because those are the choices

I would prefer that the Republicans were not selling their souls to the Globalists.
I would prefer that they would honor the social contract which brought us all together.
I would prefer that they safeguard our rights, without which we have nothing.
I would prefer that they do the right thing more often than not.
I would prefer that they rise up to defend that which we have vowed to protect and to honor.

Since they will not, the social contract they held is broken. Who then will rise up to defend our beliefs?

The clarion call has been sounded. We make haste to mount up the defenses, we stand ready, with girded loins, but where is our champion? Where is the Republican?

His sword is here, cast aside, and pointing down the road to a tavern where our champion lays in a pool of his own vomit, drunk with the wine of his excesses, There he lies, naked and soiled, in the arms of the whore of liberalism.

He is a champion no more. He cannot stand. He can barely lift his head and speak the words that used to be his glory, slurring through drooling lips.

"They come!" We cry, "They come! Why aren't you at the gate? Where is your steed, your armor, your crown?"

He belches and mutters unintelligibly, his fat belly stirring with the words, as the wanton slattern giggles stupidly into his ear.

"He'll do us no good." A warrior sighs, as we all shake our heads in disbelief. "We must make our fight alone." As we turn to go, the innkeeper asks, "Who will pay his debt for meat and ale?"

people get blinded by the wool in their eyes and are not thinking straight

Indeed, this is true.

(hey I just noticed it’s you...) Anyway, I was let down by Rush in November 1992 when he promised me, I mean promised me that Bush Sr was going to win.

On that fateful Jan 20, 1993, when the creeping fear of Apocalypse ran through my soul during the inauguration of Bill Clinton, I realized that Rush was not always right.

P.S. Rush doesn't like McCain? I don't like the Viagra sex vacation Rush took last year to the Dominican Republic with his Hollywood friends. Disgusting. Rush needs the Lord. You'd think he'd get the message after nearly going deaf.

You never ceased to display arrogance and hate. If Rush let you down - guess what, it’s too damn bad! Now didn’t I tell you before about putting your trust in man. You are a slow learning and it could be all that hate that prevents your learning. You are one of those that can’t handle Rush’s brilliance - simply by the statements you made. Stupity always keeps track of brilliance - desperately hoping they will fall.

Hey, you hit on one of my true weaknesses. I do tend to “put my trust in man”. Always with egg on my face. I guess I’m always looking for heroes. Guess you are right... there is only One Hero, who hung on the cross for us 2000 years ago.

Don’t hate Rush. Just get all antsy when I listen to him... like worked up with no place to go. He taught me a lot. Right about how commies never make money. Right about so many things... but now, as he created Talk Radio as we know it, he has to reinvent himself as everyone else does what he does. Needs to clean up his personal act for one. I’m not denigrating him. Read his first books with relish and he really really educated me. (If you knew what I did for a living, you’d tell me I probably owe him a tithe.) But as iron sharpens iron, you sharpened me tonight.

I don't know about his personal life and no one else really knows either - they just think they know. There is a reason it's called personal - it doesn't and shouldn't be nosed into.

And why would anyone keep track of his personal life? For what reason? Ah, to see - to hope for - any semblance of their own life so they can feel like they are like him in some minor way. And then if they find something not to their liking - the darts come out, the tisk, tisk. Evil's venom abounds with 'he should's', he this, he that. Jealousy is like a cancer - it spreads. But Rush won't let the venom touch him - he knows hatred is evil. Maybe that's something else he can teach you.

distorting McCain’s record, which is at least as conservative as that of Bush.....I think Bush rates a lot higher than 60 on the conservative scale.

Give specific evidence of Bush being more conservative. Last time I checked he supported the immigration bill and signed campaign finance reform.

Rush is an idiot. I think I liked him better when he was popping pills.

If he thinks he can stab the party in the back with his childish vindictiveness, he has another thing coming. His fans will eventually turn against him.

Obviously, you do not listen to Rush on regular basis. He does not create controversy - he comments on the news of the day. He is a Reagan conservative, not the mouthpiece of the current GOP. He does not want someone who claims to be a conservative but who is a moderate to liberal opportunist to be elected POTUS because of the damage it will do to the conservative movement.

He’ll probably end up joining the Ann Coulter Suicide Voters Brigade and endorsing the Dim. His betrayal will not be forgotten.

do you mean the R. rEAGAN WHO made commercials for and supported the Brady Bill....the Reagan who had one of the biggest tax increases as Gov. the Reagan who signed the most liberal abortion bill as Gov. the Reagan who cut and ran from Lebabeon after the biggest loss of a single US military unit since ww11 and did nothing to the organisation that did this Hizbollah....this Reagan ? the one who raised two extremely left wing athetist and the one who used astrolgy to determine his meetings. Now thats a conservative. Now I would vote for him now....but your thinking about what a conservative is like Rush’s do as I say not as I do conservative philisophy.

What people in the mainstream media — which Mr. Limbaugh refers to as the “drive-by media”— do not realize, he said, is that he is less concerned with being viewed as a national precinct captain who can deliver blocs of votes, or someone with the power perhaps to scuttle a presidential campaign, than with being seen as a broadcaster who can hold a huge audience.

Rush is an entertainer....not a true conservative...he lives like a liberal, acts like a liberal...tells you he is a conservative...another drink of kool aid and everything will be fine.

"there is no guarantee that if conservatives withhold votes, causing a Dem victory,"

I'm just scared that the Democrats will be so dissatisfied with their choices,
that they'll vote for McCain.

This is one point I worry about,
however I believe the opposite is true.
Going against your own party's President is very difficult, especially if you want to be re-elected. But stonewalling the opposite party is easy, in the Senate.

Let the Democrats answer for the bad things about to happen to this country.

I also worry about Supreme Court of the U.S. appointments, but not enough to vote for McCain.
