A semite IS an arab. Don’t confuse arab with Muslim. I could be wrong since I’m going from memory, but even ashkenazi Jews (central European) aren’t really semetic by definition. The truly semetic jews are the sephardics and I think two other tribes. But again, I’m going from memory here and “semetic” has taken on a different meaning over the years.

Arabs are Semites. Hebrew, Arabic, Assyrian, and Aramaic (the language spoken by Jesus and from which Arabic is derived) are Semitic languages.
