Local law enforcement agencies conducted an enforcement operation against sex offenders Thursday.
The operation targeted noncompliant registered sex offenders throughout Kern County, according to a Kern County Sheriff's Department news release. Participating were the Sheriff's Department, Bakersfield Police Department, Kern County Probation Department, Kern County District Attorney's office and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Our local rag newspaper would never mention it, but one of the local news channels said that they arrested and ICE took custody of 35 people to be deported during this sweep.

If people read the sex offender registry they will see it explodes the myth that most molesters are white middle aged males. The new majority is hispanic but we won’t ever know the real number because there are so many here illegally. What good does this list do when there are thousands of illegal immigrants who will never show up on it? This is just one more way illegal immigration undermines our laws.
