A very good friend of mine is in urgent need of prayers. She is faced with a pregnancy that will not survive and will probably kill her. Her baby is developing with it's brain out side of it's skull. Her doctor has told her she needs to abort the baby as soon as possible as there is evidently some risk to herself as well. I know that there are many prayer warriors here at FR so I turned to you.

This is why the Republican platform has an exception for abortion when the mother’s life is threatened. It doesn’t sound as if the fetus has any chance, regardless.
Tough situation, and mu heart goes out to her. But you have to do what makes sense.

And I thought I was having a bad week!
Today was a funeral for my neighbors baby. It was only two months old. Doctors said it died of SIDS. I did not sleep at all last night, and I know my neighbor is a wreck. I hate it when I hear stories like these...it breaks my heart.
