NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Yes, MSNBC consistently has the lowest ratings among the cable news channels. But all is not lost. It does stand out in one underappreciated category: embarrassing, mealy-mouthed apologies.

“MSNBC could start promoting itself as the “We’re sorry” network. To keep up the momentum, it should next apologize to its parent company, General Electric for its lousy ratings, boorish newsmen and all-around irrelevance.”

MSNBC reserves its apologies for the democrats. Keith Olberidiot can call the President of the United States a liar, a terrorist, and a facist on the air but will never issue an apology, or indeed will never be asked to issue an apology by his management.

Add “Street Sweetie” Erin Burnett of CNBC to the list. Her non-appology for her wisecrack calling Pres. Bush the “monkey in the middle” was a model of insincerity.

yeah but ~ at least msnbc does not allow the “C” word as they do on the parent nbc station!!!!
ge/nbc is NOT the ‘we’re-sorry’ news network.....they are a just plain sorry excuse for a network!!!!
