As transparently biased as the MSM is, it should raise flags when they ooh and ahh (24/7) over a politician, who, quite clearly, is also a Democrat with socialist views and a strong supporter of pro-abortion legislation, particularly the gruesome partial-birth abortion.
I hope that the American people are not blinded by the continual media hype, and make an opinion based on the issues instead of the smooth talking, decent looks, and over-all charm. Ive been disappointed to hear even friends of mine mention that simply because Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. speaks well and looks good, that he would make the perfect leader, but when asked what they know about what he stands for, not one of them could give an answer. Apparently, to many, all it takes is appearance and performance, never mind actual accomplishments or experience.

Obama defends killing ‘aborted’ babies who survive birth.
Gee, the way things are going, maybe the Dems will have a crack-up at their convention...?
Pass the popcorn.
Barack is an empty suit, spouting the same ideas that have doomed democrat “thinking” to irrelevancy for decades.
And thanks to McCain-Feingold, we won’t be able to say diddly about this as the election draws near.
Did he say the “democrat is near.....”
Yes, but he spouts them well.
Obama has motivated young voters in a way that neither Gore nor Kerry were able to do. He's a superstar, and it doesn't matter to many what he says, just that he's so charismatic saying it.
Unless the Clintons are able to pull this out, my expectation is that we'd all better get ready for President Obama.
It will be interesting to see how hard McCain goes after Obama using the socialist/hardcore liberal label. The media will bend over backwards to portray Obama as a moderate. McCain will have to some how take the independents from Obama and shift Obama farther left while simultaneous straddling the middle/right dynamic in the Republican party.
Obama is helped greatly by having a far thinner record than McCain or even Hillary.
I am still shocked that the Clinton machine hasn’t found something really juicy to throw out there against Obama. But of course, it doesn’t help much to label Obama too socialist inside the Democratic nomination process.
I wonder how long it will take the media to proclaim McCain a racist for pointing out Obama’s flaws? This is going to be a strange election of Obama actually beats HRC.
But don’t worry we won’t know about this. shhhhh. The ratmedia will keep it secret and the “Experts” are already predicting he will win. I think that is simply not going to happen. The rat has not won the White male vote since 1964. For anyone who believes he will even get the same number of White male votes the frenchie and algore got, have a wonderful old bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.
I’m not happy about mckennedy being our nominee, but that doesn’t mean I’ve lost my mind. He aint winning PERIOD.
Speaks well and looks good? The same was true of serial killer Ted Bundy.
Let’s hope that the general electorate won’t be so blinded that they will allow him to bring this attitude to the White House and the SC.
He's being worshiped and that's dangerous territory. His gatherings are revival like, he's the 'liberals religious left'.
"For false Christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. JESUS CHRIST
Very dangerous man imo, very dangerous.
Poetic justice - if McCain loses due to McCain-Feingold.
I want this issue front and center in the General Election.
they will definitely have crack up at their convention.
I find him to be a bore—completely unexceptional. Then again, I’m not looking at things with fruit loop liberal eyes.
September Surprise!
And don’t leave out that famous German orator - Adolph Hilter! His speeches were a large factor in seducing a whole nation.
You're not the only one who sees him that way. Environmentalism is the religion of the left, Gore is the prophet and Obama is the savior.
But hey, he offers Change We Can Believe In. ;-)
I'm with you. A key component in a person's character is his views toward protecting the most innocent. If he doesn't get this right, there is little hope that he will be right about much of anything.
You are exactly right. Mcpain gives me the creeps but obama winning the WH puts the fear of God into me. This prophet of the leftist cannot win.
You’re right. Obama is going to be a historic figure. He is living proof of what it means for African Americans to compete and win on mainstream America’s terms and turf.
For those of us that catch that reference, you are walking a fine line that you may be too close to crossing.
If president, Obama would need strong advice to help him advocate policies that benefit the country as a whole.
Example: For Obama to support partial-birth abortion may help him win the primary, but it amounts to a declaration of war against a major voting block in the main election and after.
Typical “Me First” liberal. He made it out of the womb without being killed. Why should he care about anyone else?
She’s also the kind of woman that would have picked up Ted Bundy by the side of the road with his fake cast because he looked so nice.
‘...I am still shocked that the Clinton machine hasnt found something really juicy to throw out there against Obama. I wonder how long it will take the media to proclaim McCain a racist for pointing out Obamas flaws?..’
That’s exactly the point....Clinton and media outlets are afraid they will be called racists if they begin to question Obama’s past comments/behavior/affliations.
And, imho, seems the Clintons found someone who is more SLICK than they are.
Interesting though, many ‘white’ people are supporting Obama but many ‘black’ people who are supporting Obama seem to be doing so because he has identified himself as ‘black’.....very few ‘black’ people seem willing to support the ‘white’ Dem even though many of her views are similar to those of Obama. Hmmm, but they are not called racist....how about just supporting the PERSON who will best protect America?? (of course, that would be neither Dem...lol).
I genuinely wish we could all simply be AMERICANS...not white, black, Asian-American, African-American, Irish-American, Hispanic-American......maybe then we ALL would begn to care more about our great country than our personal agendas.
We’re in a sad state....God help us.
Evidently you must have liked the movie if you sat through it long enough for that scene. By the way, just what did the old timer say when the bells chimed? I have no idea for sure, do you?
Riiigghhttt, you just randomly pulled that reference for no reason, because you had no idea of the implication. Just come clean about your true thoughts on the matter and we'll call it even.
I guess you think “thoughts” are a crime nowdays.Glad to see that you yhink you can interpret my thoughts.
Never said it was a crime, just very bad taste. Just man up and admit what you meant, or just keep trying to be cute and hide behind your little spin in the true liberal fashion.
I'm out...
I’m out...
Yes, you certainly are!
Yep.
For fun, I read through his 64-page Blueprint for Change.
Astounding stuff. His healthcare plan alone will drive me out of business. If I don’t contribute to my employees’ healthcare (which I don’t) then I’ll have to pay a percentage of my payroll to the government for its universal healthcare plan. That’ll force me to cut payroll (fire folks) so I’ve got a lower percentage, and even then - unless my margin grows - I can’t afford a new tax.
Change is going to be very costly. The growth in the size and scope of the federal government is going to be costly.
Obama, if he holds forth on his Blueprint for Change, will be another Jimmy Carter. Even if his healthcare plan doesn’t ruin my business, the economic disaster his programs will bring about probably will.
Exciting times.
Amen!
For those of us not to quick on the ball here, what movie are you talking about?
If it's mentioned in the complete article, I've just outted myself that I didn't read it. :)
:)
Judging by the attitudes on displayed on FR, you're going to need to put your hope in the "general electorate" because "conservatives" aren't going to help you.
It was a scene from Blazing Saddles, a Mel Brooks movie, need I say anymore?
And folks are willing to let this man waltz into the Oval Office just because they’re pi$$ed at John McCain? Hope they continue to feel as virtuous about themselves when Obama makes at least two appointments to the Supremes, and cements abortion rights for the next generation, with NO chances of restrictions at all.
Can you say MURDER? I knew you could.
Kudo’s to mom....it really wasn’t her fault. The doctor did it.
Thank you. I’ll go read the entire article now. lol
Not mentioned in article but some people have no sense of humor, BTW Richer Pryor wrote most of that movie, does that make things more clear?
I'm just trying to figure out what you two are arguing about. Maybe I just need more coffee at this point. :)
No, not for the aborted babies.
No, you need to go rent the movie, thats the only way you will understand.
