Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. Defends Partial-birth Abortion
Associatedcontent.com ^ | published Oct 24, 2006 | By Donna Hope

As transparently biased as the MSM is, it should raise flags when they ooh and ahh (24/7) over a politician, who, quite clearly, is also a Democrat with socialist views and a strong supporter of pro-abortion legislation, particularly the gruesome partial-birth abortion.

I hope that the American people are not blinded by the continual media hype, and make an opinion based on the issues instead of the smooth talking, decent looks, and over-all charm. I’ve been disappointed to hear even friends of mine mention that simply because Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. speaks well and looks good, that he would make the perfect leader, but when asked what they know about what he stands for, not one of them could give an answer. Apparently, to many, all it takes is appearance and performance, never mind actual accomplishments or experience.

And don’t leave out that famous German orator - Adolph Hilter! His speeches were a large factor in seducing a whole nation.

"For false Christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.” JESUS CHRIST

You're not the only one who sees him that way. Environmentalism is the religion of the left, Gore is the prophet and Obama is the savior.

But hey, he offers Change We Can Believe In. ;-)

I want this issue front and center in the General Election.

I'm with you. A key component in a person's character is his views toward protecting the most innocent. If he doesn't get this right, there is little hope that he will be right about much of anything.

You are exactly right. Mcpain gives me the creeps but obama winning the WH puts the fear of God into me. This prophet of the leftist cannot win.

You’re right. Obama is going to be a historic figure. He is living proof of what it means for African Americans to compete and win on mainstream America’s terms and turf.

I saw an old friend in traffic the other day. She had an Obama bumper sticker hanging in her passenger window. I wasn’t surprised really. Just disappointed. She’s the type of person who has never grown up. Not trying to demean her, but she’s very juvenile in her thinking. We caught up with her a few minutes later and talked for a while. I didn’t even mention the sticker. I could have really embarrassed her if I were the cruel type—”So why are you supporting Obama? What’s one thing he has accomplished that’s really impressed you?”

Did he say the “democrat is near.....”

For those of us that catch that reference, you are walking a fine line that you may be too close to crossing.

If president, Obama would need strong advice to help him advocate policies that benefit the country as a whole.

Example: For Obama to support partial-birth abortion may help him win the primary, but it amounts to a declaration of war against a major voting block in the main election and after.

Typical “Me First” liberal. He made it out of the womb without being killed. Why should he care about anyone else?

She’s also the kind of woman that would have picked up Ted Bundy by the side of the road with his fake cast because he looked so nice.

‘...I am still shocked that the Clinton machine hasn’t found something really juicy to throw out there against Obama. I wonder how long it will take the media to proclaim McCain a racist for pointing out Obama’s flaws?..’

That’s exactly the point....Clinton and media outlets are afraid they will be called racists if they begin to question Obama’s past comments/behavior/affliations.
And, imho, seems the Clintons found someone who is more SLICK than they are.
Interesting though, many ‘white’ people are supporting Obama but many ‘black’ people who are supporting Obama seem to be doing so because he has identified himself as ‘black’.....very few ‘black’ people seem willing to support the ‘white’ Dem even though many of her views are similar to those of Obama. Hmmm, but they are not called racist....how about just supporting the PERSON who will best protect America?? (of course, that would be neither Dem...lol).

I genuinely wish we could all simply be AMERICANS...not white, black, Asian-American, African-American, Irish-American, Hispanic-American......maybe then we ALL would begn to care more about our great country than our personal agendas.
We’re in a sad state....God help us.

Evidently you must have liked the movie if you sat through it long enough for that scene. By the way, just what did the old timer say when the bells chimed? I have no idea for sure, do you?

Riiigghhttt, you just randomly pulled that reference for no reason, because you had no idea of the implication. Just come clean about your true thoughts on the matter and we'll call it even.

Never said it was a crime, just very bad taste. Just man up and admit what you meant, or just keep trying to be cute and hide behind your little spin in the true liberal fashion.

I'm out...

Yep.

For fun, I read through his 64-page Blueprint for Change.

Astounding stuff. His healthcare plan alone will drive me out of business. If I don’t contribute to my employees’ healthcare (which I don’t) then I’ll have to pay a percentage of my payroll to the government for its universal healthcare plan. That’ll force me to cut payroll (fire folks) so I’ve got a lower percentage, and even then - unless my margin grows - I can’t afford a new tax.

Change is going to be very costly. The growth in the size and scope of the federal government is going to be costly.

Obama, if he holds forth on his Blueprint for Change, will be another Jimmy Carter. Even if his healthcare plan doesn’t ruin my business, the economic disaster his programs will bring about probably will.

Exciting times.

For those of us not to quick on the ball here, what movie are you talking about?

If it's mentioned in the complete article, I've just outted myself that I didn't read it. :)
