Why Hillary Elevated Maggie Williams
This past week, Hillary Clinton attempted to fortify her shaky campaign by hiring long time confidante Maggie Williams as campaign manager.
For Clinton observers, this suggests that the race card may be pulled from the deck once again with the African American Williams providing necessary insulation
Historically, Hillary and her husband, Bill Clinton have played this card over and over and with great effect. What the media have yet to tell black America, however, is that the card is inevitably a Joker. [more]

I think that most Black people have figured that out. McCain to me is the same as Kerry 2004 - the ‘Pubs aren’t trying to win. Duncan Hunter is everything that the Conservatives say they want in a President, yet they failed to support him. Sickening....
The Clinton Democrats have a new “Jim Crow” law which says that a white woman always gets preference over a black man.
Must quibble. They will vote Democrat even if a Klansman is on the ticket.
Come to think of it, in West Virginia....
Hmm. Very interesting. And although I knew some of this, the full extent of this exploitation goes beyond what I had imagined.
The only thing he leaves out is how Ron Brown ended up. I guess he just didn’t want to tackle that one.
The main reason that McCain is going to be the nominee is that it is “his turn”. Just like Bob Dole. Romney thinks it is going to be “his turn” next.
So sorry for those that are not in the right line. They don’t even seem to know it.
There were two huge things that Duncan Hunter did NOT have, name recognition and credibility. I liked him best also, but he never had those two important things. It’s too bad. He would have been great if he had those two extra qualities.
The only ones talking about race in this election cycle are liberals...
It had not even occurred to me that maggie williams’ race had anything to do with this
"Someone" must have been getting a little too close to Huma!
Oh I love this!!!
Not an Ace of ... (nevermind)
Because she knows where the bodies are buried, and she did not want her going over to Obama.
She is a trusted hatchet person and liar-for-hire. This fat cow has a proven record of doing whatever immoral and/or criminal act she is called upon to perform. Fully capable of stealing a nomination for her evil boss.
Was there ever any doubt?
He also had shown no leadership qualities, though he was running for the ultimate leadership position. The same is true of Fred Thompson. They are number one and two with me as to their positions, but the leadership just isn't there.
It is the media that is dictating who will run for President. That is the reason Duncan Hunter didn’t make it. The media didn’t want him and therefore he got no press. Press brings in supporters and money.
Wasn’t Kathy Bates character in “Primary Colors” supposed to be Maggie Williams?
Very good potlatch!
The sharks are circling! Might help Hillary’s cankles!
“Bringing her into play means that Hillary no longer believes in her inevitability as the Dem nominee, although I doubt she disbelieves her inevitability to hold the Oval Office.”
Bringing back to life the phrase, “by hook, or by crook”.
Kathy Bates character committed suicide. I can't wait for Anonymous to write the Hillary sequel of Primary Colors. There HAS to be some great vignettes from the Wicked One's campaign!
Nothing will trim her cankles!
[Nothing will trim her cankles!]
Lol, and people are complaining about her always wearing pantsuits! They must have forgotten what she looks like in a dress!
Maggie Williams was called up for one reason and one reason only. This campaign is on the verge of getting very nasty which may call for possibly illegal actions. The hildabeast knows Maggie will do whatever she orders and keep her mouth shut.
The assault did not, however, end in political disaster. That would have occurred only if the Clinton Justice Department had shared with America what it knew and concealed about the Branch Davidians ethnicity. More than half the dead were, in fact, racial minorities: thirty-nine of the seventy-four. Of those thirty-nine, twenty-seven, aged six to sixty, were black.
I never realized that. Another press blackout even worse than Duncan Hunter.
I suspect there will be many truths that will eventually come into the public domain about those historic years the Clintons “ruled” the country. I’d love to know what is contained on all of those files they are adamant about not releasing.
Yep. That's what it's all about. It's Mclame's turn. To hell with the party.
I had no idea, either.
The only way this could be true would be for the media to intentionally avoid pointing it out.
Our MSM has scooped more poop than the entire membership of the AKC.
Note to Maggie: when Hillary wants to send you on a trade mission to Dubrovnik, just say “NO”.
Of course. Ron Brown, who was about to be indicted for his corrupt taking of bribes from businessmen anxious to go abroad under clinton sponsorship, publicly said that if he went down he’d take clinton down with him.
That was it.
Miami voting trends proved this in the Florida primary.
Since Hillary thought she had the Hispanic vote locked up if any other pubbie had won the nomination, she didn't count on McCain raising from the dead, like a dem voter.
That leaves the black vote is a major part of her base she has pissed off, so she puts the token black up in a position of power and throws the Hispanic under the bus.
Remember Bill Clinton's reaction to the Oklahoma City bombing--trying to use it to turn public anger against Rush Limbaugh and other conservatives, as supposedly inspiring the deed.
No they didn't (fail).
There just aren't that many voters who agreed with Hunter's positions.
The primaries have been very illuminating. "True conservatives" (trucons) are about 15% of the Republican electorate, hence about 5% of the total national Presidential electorate.
That's not numerous enough to have any substantial impact on policy.
Wrong. Duncan Hunter had the charisma and passion of a dead fish.
There was that brief item on FR about a guy who was willing to take a lie detector test that he had “sexual relations” with BHO in the back of a limo in 1999. That story went nowhere. Just interesting that it flew out there and then died a quick death. If it had been about McCain, or Huckabee, would it have died that quickly....
I watched Bobby Jindal on CNN with Wolf this morning. Now there is someone to watch for 2012. If he has any success at all in Louisiana, that in of itself is a huge recommendation for national leadership. Was he born in the USA?
Credibility? And Huckabee does? Hunter spent his time responding to news commentators about “Why are you still in this contest” - this was from day 1. I fault Hunter for not framing himself better like Ron Paul does. Paul doesn’t put up with crap, and I wish Hunter hadn’t been so dang polite.
You mean this story? It has not only grown legs, the number of hits to the video has been huge!
