I would have liked this Jane Fonda film if they's only finished the job.

Jane Fonda’s reputation as a reprehensible traitor and left wing thug has been well chronicled for nearly 40 years.
The behavior of this wretched vermin during the Vietnam War should have led to her arrest and deportation to North Vietnam for permanent enslavement by the communist murderers with whom she conspired against brave American men and women in harm’s way.
Unfortunately, Hanoi Jane survived her war on America and is still a poster child for the communist party in America. Albeit, she now comes with multiple lays of wrinkles and sans the beauty marks of 40 years ago, but to Hollywood and Democrats she is still a heroine.
At least that was the case until February 14, when Fonda knocked out the power at NBC News with a violation of FCC rules that should be treated as an actionable felony, punishable by arrest and consignment to Guantanamo Bay for the rest of her miserable liberal life.
During a live production of the “Today Show,” beamed to scores of millions of Americans and God himself, Fonda dropped a “C” bomb while attempting to be witty about “V-Day,” the feminist denigration of Victory Day celebrated in 1945 to commemorate the end of World War II.
Fonda and trash-mouthed feminists of her ilk have remade V-Day into “Vagina Monologues,” to celebrate left wing pornography, which is peddled as comprehensible only to elitists sophisticated enough to look beyond the vulgarity and anti-Americanism in order to see sexual freedom and spirituality.
Reports indicate that millions of American viewers misinterpreted Fonda’s “C***” bomb as an endorsement of the Hillary Clinton campaign, although the veracity of those reports cannot be confirmed.

No thats better than better, it’s perfect because it is the absolute undeniable truth. The government of the United States served notice to every interested person when they refused to indict her and others who did similar things and try them for treason and met out appropriate punishment that it was more than willing to permit a caste system to develop in this nation and to exercise Government intervention to protect same. The fact that no public official has stepped out to charge her with communications law violations in regard to this incident stands as vivid proof to my assertion.

What did she do that was so wrong (in this instance anyway)? They asked her what her section was called in the play. She told them. They must have known, they get all this info on people pre-interview. Why would they ask her if they knew it would cause flak? She answered honestly, they’re the dummies in this case for asking.
I will add that the play, The Vagina Monologues, isn’t pornography and it *is* terrific. Funny, sad, thought provoking, hysterical at times....it’s great. Nothing to do with VDay, the woman who wrote the play wanted to celebrate women’s sexuality and womanhood. The show has been around for at least 10 years if not more. Different celebrities have performed the individual sections in all the shows.
Very little is said in this play that won’t have every woman shaking her head, laughing and saying ‘Yup, that’s just the way it is!’
Just from the reviews pro and con, I have dubbed them the Vagina Ideologues.

I’ve seen it. The play that is. There are sections about the shame women have for their bodies (never good enough, thin enough, pretty enough etc.), about childbirth, menstruation and menopause, adolescence and getting used to all the changes that occur so rapidly, sexual abuse and rape, about admiration for what the female body can do. While it might be *the* thing to see for many 20somethings, I think probably the most appreciative audiences are 40+. We ‘got’ it.
This is just more of the narcissism of the left for itself -- most ordinary people are able to acknowledge these tendencies and doubts without engaging in public mutual masturbation over their own enlightenment in noticing the obvious.
And why is the lesbian rape so important? (Aside from its potential use in an Obama campaign commercial as "save the Huma" or something similar)?

I guess I just have to wonder why it bothers people so much. There are a multitude of performances that I don’t care to see and so I never will. If a group of women what to perform the monologues and another group wants to go see them...who cares? No one *has* to go.
Since all the stories are from real woman, I would assume that a rape would be pretty damn important to the victim. It probably is something she has worked hard to get over, to be able to share her voice about. Rape isn’t easy to talk about, it makes the listeners uncomfortable. It takes a lot of courage to come forward and tell someone you were raped. I supposed if it were a man who had committed the rape, it wouldn’t matter as much?
The seduction of a thirteen year old girl by an adult lesbian using either alcohol, drugs, or both, is “terrific”?

I’m not a kid and I’ve seen enough years to be so tired of women whining about their problems.
Get over it.
The last thing I want to go see (or have my daughters see) is another high five from a bunch of women, saying how tough they have it and how men don’t. No matter how funny it is or how well we can relate.
This play and most of tv teaches our young women that whining get them kudos and we have it soooooo tough.

This is an example of the Gramscian / Orwellian takeover and coopting of traditions ("hijacking" if you will) of what is otherwise a fun, tawdry, lame, commercial holiday (and excuse for chocolate!) in order to promote a leftist agenda. The news shows are regularly running fawning segments on the show, year afer Year after YEAR: thus subjecting me to some liberal's "choice" of what is important, even IF I don't care about the show.
E.g. imagine if Time, Newsweek, Hardball, etc. ALL put out news stories every Easter -- not with apostates trashing Christianity and attempting to undermine faith, but with stories hyping the historicity of Jesus and all the good things Christians have done through the ages. And then they resorted to bigoted one- or two-word catchphrases to dismiss with prejudice anyone who complained.

That's just the point...why use a show about a lesbian rape as an occasion for all the people interviewed to spout off about male violence? Such a show ought to be by PC rules a "hate crime" against men, because it feeds stereotypes -- Google up news stories about the Duke rape case, and see the comments from the faculty, and how they didn't change their minds, even after it came out that there hadn't even been a rape.
