We had a case a few years ago locally. Two cops in the nearby town of New London,Ohio decided it would be cool to practice their quick draw abilities at the station. With loaded weapons. One drew his weapon and shot the other officer right in the head.Dead before he hit the ground.
I find it amazing that you so comfortably bash Freepers after only a few months here. Newbie. It's ok to disagree with you, you know?
Yep they call it failure to obey a lawful order. Which just means do what I say or we taze ya.
I don’t know of any.
Since when was “getting into it” considered proper English for news stories?
Any place there is a fire chief, that person is in charge of the scene.
Meaning, to open the roadway to the exigency of a 2nd, concurrent, emergency?
When the FD is on scene, they OWN the area and have total control. The police must follow their orders. The only exception is when an incident commander is assigned by the community’s Office of Emergency Management during a major disaster.
The police are responsible for their behavior, lately it seems they believe they are above the law. I use to have the utmost respect for police officers (my brother is police lieutenant), but after a recent incident with a corrupt officer, my opinion has forever been changed.
I have a strong dislike and distrust for officers and it will take a very long time to get over the bad taste this officer left in my mouth.
No, meaning he asked to have the truck moved. The denial and arrest are separate issues from my prior statement.
Seems some cops think they own us and can order anything they want. The stupid cop forgot who owned that crash scene and it wasn’t him.
There have been cases of black undercovers being shot by paddy. I think it was on 60 min and was in NYC
The cop made reasonable request. One lane was adequate. The fire truck could have gone in front of the police vehicle. The arrest was over the top however.
They aren't.
The media makes you think that they are. Just like with school shootings. You are more likely to be mauled by a bear than killed in a school shooting, yet the media paints a picture as if School Shootings are common.
Why should I put any stock in anything put out by the drug pushing libertines at the Cato Institute?
Yeah, that's logical.
You might have a point if things such as this werent becomming commonplace...

LOL...that’s good....
Next you try and convince me that cops dont like doughnuts...
You asked a stupid wise ass question with no basis in anything, so screw you, pal.
