Very cool! Not that I’m going to lop off a limb to try it, but I have great hopes that this will help a great many people.

I guess it has to be applied right after the injury (or would you just reamputate right below the previously-healed injury then apply the stuff)?

Yes, seriously. I’m not sure, but it may have been calcium hydroxide? I got the impression that this was not a brand-new dental treatment, but has been around a little while at least. Not at oral surgeons use this I remember being told. This was not experimental. No side effects at all. The before and after x-rays were proof enough to me that this stuff worked, and it worked great for me.
