Those debates completely changed my opinion of Kemp. He was totally out argued and out classed by Gore. GORE OF ALL PEOPLE. How pathetic is that?

Do you truly believe that abortion will end under a McCain presidency?

If he gives us another Clarence Thomas (like that other non-conservative, George H. W. Bush did) we have a chance of reducing abortions. Will it end? Probably not. Do we have a better shot to advance the ball with McCain over Obama or Clinton...do I even need to ask the question?!

But hey, you’ve got principles to stick with...

When is John McCain going to reach across the aisle to the conservatives as he happily reaches out to his liberal friends like Teddy Kennedy?

McCain claims that he drove McCain/Feingold to take the money out of politics. Let’s see, he takes away my civil right to free political to get the money out of politics. McCain's misguided thinking on McCain/Fiengold greatly scares conservatives.

One step for McCain: If he is sincere in working with and for conservatives, he needs to work as hard to repeal McCain/Feingold as he did for amnesty for the illegal aliens. Then if he still wants to take the money out of politics, he can do what politicians do best, pass a heavy tax, but this time, tax all political contributions at 90% to 99%. That will get a lot of the money out of politics as he claims is his goal.

His father and grandfather were not particularly long lived.

The pouters will still pout, dig in their heels and stick out their tongues and cry out, "I ain't votin for no RINO McCain! No, I'm not! I won't do it! No! No! No!"

Which itself is also an example of exaggeration.

Yet another embarrassingly childish post by a drone.

Kent is one of the leading proponents of amnesty and illegal immigration.

Many of us Californians haven't forgotten how he and Bill Bennet came to our fine state back in 94 to instruct us rubes & hillbillies on how we should vote no on prop 187.

'Cause only a racist would want to deny non-essential services to illegal immigrants, doncha know.

With Warren Rudman advising him on judicial matters its far, far more likely he'll give us another David Souter.

This is reality we're talking about here.

John McCain ... prepare to join the ranks of Herbert Humphrey, Adlai Stevenson, John W. Davis and Alfred E. Smith.

Liberals no one has ever heard of.

Jack Kemp who? The same Jack Kemp who, with Bob Dole, ran the most lackluster campaign I ever saw? Well....until Rudy Guliani.

Question: who gives us a better chance at nominating a pro life judge? A guy with a 96% pro-life NARAL rating, or Obama/Clinton?

You know the answer...but stick to your principles....they are more important than the unborn.

Then, you haven't spent as much time as I have reading through these threads.

It ain't no exaggeration.

I figure things aren't going to sort themselves out until mid March or later. But then, I don't have one of them crystal balls some our fellow posters seem to be consulting.

Or, better yet, get someone in line now to take over the campaign this summer. He can appear at the convention as an "elder statesman" and help draw in the sympathy vote.

As far as his mother's age is concerned, she's female and they have longer lifespans, plus she wasn't a POW for half a decade.

McCain's dad lived 70 years. His father, also an admiral, lived 61 years.

This guy is a walking timebomb, and the sooner that problem is addressed the better!

KEMP: I think the Bible says very clearly "he who wrestles with us strengthens us." And I think John has been strengthened by going through this.

Bahaha! Not laughing at the Bible quote. Laughing at Kemp's use of it relating to McCain. We're strengthening HIM. But he's not strengthening US. He scorns us. He mocks us. He hates us. Which has weakened US.

Thanks for asking. The measure lost, as a consequence the illegal population (a natural constituency for leftist & socialists) soared, and now the the state GOP is about dead.

Thanks, Jack. Thanks, Bill. How would you like us to vote now?

What is it about McCain supporters that they think bullying us is going to get us to vote for him?

My county is dominated by radical, tire slashing, pipe-wielding union thug Democrats. Do you really think you’re going to intimidate me into voting for McCain?
