No matter how you try to justify your vote, if you vote for someone other than the GOP nominee, it will affect the election.
There are two choices in November, not 3, 4 or 100. Two. You can vote for the dem nominee or the rep nominee. If you stomp your feet and refuse to vote for the rep nominee because you feel he’s not “conservative enough”, you ARE helping the dems. Period.
The democrat nominee wants to retreat from Iraq in failure. The democrat nominee wants to pull out combat brigades one at a time, leaving NOBODY behind to defend those left.
I’m sorry, and I realize that McCain is NOT the popular choice, but IF he is the party’s nominee, and IF you choose to have your temper tantrum and vote for someone with out a chance, shame on you.
The time to do that was during the primary. Please spare me the nonsense that the party chose the candidate. If YOU didn’t support the candidate of your choice, whose fault is that?
I cannot believe that conservatives, at a time when we have one hundred and forty thousand troops in harm’s way, would stomp their feet in a temper tantrum and refuse to vote for the candidate who does not want them to lose.
Nothing you can say will justify your desire to have those troops lose because the perfect conservative wasn’t elected. Nothing.
And, I will remind you that the “choice” here on FR, the so called “perfect conservative”, voted WITH McCain on certain bills that some of you now claim to be the reason you won’t vote for him.
I will never ever refuse to vote knowing that my failure to vote will result in a defeat for our military.
Never. My country comes first.
