Not quite accurate. Please read the following essay I wrote that was vetted by our own "Congressman Billybob", a constitutional lawyer.

Please read the following essay I wrote that was vetted by our own "Congressman Billybob", a constitutional lawyer. I did read it. I just disagree. Remember, there was nothing in the Articles of Confederation that authorized the Constitutional Convention of 1787 to do what it did. Nothing in the instructions the delegates were given by the States, either. The delegates can do what they will. The states can ratify what they choose. They would be limited by the terms of the current Constitution only if they choose to be.
