Yes, hasn’t Obama been saying he will have them ALL home by the end of 2009, except for a “nearby” quick reaction force (this gives one the impression a few in Kuwait?)... Discounting the lack of wisdom for that type of plan, it would not even be physically or logistically possible for some 130,000-160,000 troops and all of their gear and equipment to be brought home in a period of 9 months or less, leaving any civilians stranded, reconstruction projects abandoned...etc. Are the Obama supporters stupid enough to believe he could do this? (don’t answer that)...

Excerpt from Buzz Patterson’s book:

” Hillary did try to ban military uniforms in the White House and we objected for national security reasons [It was important that the Secret Service and staff be able to immediately identify the military aide.]. She relented only on the one point of those who were responsible for carrying the nuclear football [the super-secret black briefcase containing the nuclear launch codes].
.
Other than that, military uniforms were not worn in the White House per Hillary’s directive issued down through the staff. In fact, the only military personnel who were permitted to wear uniforms at the White House were the Marine Guards (who were positioned outside of the White House) and the social aids — mostly captains and majors, who were there infrequently and only during social events, assisting guests, showing people where the bathrooms were, that kind of thing. “

How does sitting on a committee and questioning the veracity of one of our best generals qualify her any more than him to be CIC?

It's not any committee. It's the committee that deals specifically with the military services. IMO it is within reason for her to claim it is relevant.

Barama will point to his service on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. It's not nearly as relevant and he's only been on it three years.

So let me get the straight. The best commander-in-chief is the one who surrenders and runs away?

Not on my watch you SOBs!!

"she already mounted a commander in chief........."

There is absolutely no proof of that...... I saw a recent photo of Chelsea campaigning somewhere, her face was looking pasty white and puffy, and I was sure she looked more like Web Hubbell than ever before....
