By the end of the year, Oprah & Friends listeners will have completed all of the lessons laid out in the Course in Miracles Workbook. Those who finish the Course will have a wholly redefined spiritual mindseta New Age worldview that includes the belief that there is no sin, no evil, no devil, and that God is in everyone and everything. A Course in Miracles teaches its students to rethink everything they believe about God and life. The Course Workbook bluntly states: This is a course in mind training5 and is dedicated to thought reversal.6

Wow. That has got to be some kind of heresy trifecta.
Wow. I know about the Course in Miracles.
This is a very poor idea for Oprah. I agree it may explain some of her...thinking.
I have trouble reconciling the “no sin” part with the article posted here today about the couple who starved their infant child to death. I’d like to get the take of these “gurus” on that.
I remember many years ago that a Christian woman told the truth in the audience about Christ and that He is the only way. Oprah had no clue what she was talking about.
Can Opa make pancakes?
So, slavery was a good thing and the KKK is just like the Rotary Club?

Dunno, but she like she has no problem eating them.
Oprah’s the devil.
She needs to change her meds!
This is like saying the murderer rapist who had his way with your daughter is a victim too.
I here kumai ya in the background.
It could very well be that we are seeing the prophesies of Revelations being played out right in front of us.

Guess she made enough off if “The Secret” scam. Yet no one complains about her billions.
They left out one: "Ye shall not surely die....."
That is a very satanic program! Sounds like they will all be brainwashed into believing that nothing they do can be wrong, because there is no wrong. Boy will they be surprised later!
Nothing new, Oprah has been pushing new age stuff for a while. Guest she has that are too Christian make her uncomfortable.
So is the leading guru L. Ron Hubbard or Obi Wan Kenobi?
Oprah makes me puke.
She is a fool.
If we are, we’ve been left behind.
Jer 14:14 Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.

This “Course in Miracles” fits right in line with the teachings of “The Secret”.
(9) The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, (10) and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. (11) For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie (12) and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.
2 Thessalonians 2:9-12
Two pillars of New Ageism are focus on the self and personal power.
The concept of "no sin" is intended to prevent a self obsessed power hungry person from feeling guilty about anything they did or might do in the future.
>>The concept of “no sin” is intended to prevent a self obsessed power hungry person from feeling guilty about anything they did or might do in the future.
In other words, it is training in being a psychopath.
This 'New Age' stuff, as described in the linked article, with or without Oprah Winfrey's approval, pits the age-old man-is-all premise against biblical truths. Not surprisingly, many eagerly accept it as they believe this absolves them of all personal responsibility for their actions while it effectively puts a 'happy face' on sin.
Free will is a gift of God and many abuse it by rejecting Jesus and embracing self-serving pseudo religions while mega-millionaire 'celebrities' like Opera Winfrey, endorse this crap so they can do as they please, pretend they're 'spiritual' and feel good about themselves.
Judgment Day will be a shock for Oprah and the millions she's persuaded to reject biblical teaching and accept man-made, feel-good rubbish. She made her choice and apparently believes that everything she has - which is plenty - came strictly as a result of her own efforts with absolutely no help from God and that her celebrity somehow insulates her from responsibility for her actions. Oprah is wrong.
Wowee!!! Most celebs write their autobiographies, but not our Oprah. She writes a brand new bible! Goody! Just what this country needs. Since I, and a host of others on Freerepublic, already believe Obama is the Antichrist, what does that make Oprah?
I don’t like Opera, I prefer Operetta!
why do these stupid silly women watch this show?....sure, some things are interesting but Winfrey is just an anti-Christ if you ask me.....her racism slips out occassionanlly and she certainly doesn’t care about the poor and disadvantaged unless she can make a show out of it...
Oh they will be. Haven’t you read how the story ends? :)
Ok, you are correct.
“... already believe Obama is the Antichrist, what does that make Oprah?”
The false prophet. But I think that will be someone else and Obama is just a warning shot, or the warm-up, if you will. I used to think that Bill Clinton was going to be the AntiChrist.
OPRAH is a racist, godless piglet.
That is the essence of what is going on. Mankind rejecting Christ, our savior, and embracing lies, that there is no sin. They want it so much, reason is thrown aside. They want to believe that they can “change the world” because otherwise they would have to stop sinning. They are not about to do that.
It will only get worse. Soon they will hate those who won’t convert. Those of us who know that there is sin in every men’s heart and that there is a penalty for not dealing with it. Then it will get “very interesting.”
I’ve known for years that Oprah believed this stuff. SHe hates traditional, orthodox Christianity. I mean, just watch her show if you can stomach it.
*snort*
ACIM is old new age. It’s a lot like Barack, pages and pages of words in very small print that say the same thing over and over while simultaneously saying nothing at all. Next year, Oprah’s Reading Club explores the Koran.
Just more moral relativism. Liberals all believe themselves to be god, anyway.
Oprah is as toony as Tom Cruise. At least with Tom Cruise everyone admits he’s a nut. Sounds like she’s starting her own religion—Oprahtology.

A Course in Miracles or in Brainwashing?
sounds like a repudiation of the Bible, especially the Ten Commandments and Jesus’ teaching about sin.
I suspect it has something to do with justification for homosexuality.
Do they have a name for this??
That's right. Hitler being the best example of what New Age philosophy creates.
Oprah wants to walk on water. She is going to sink like a rock.
