"Texas is the end game. Hillary Clinton has to stop Obama in Texas. This means she has to do something to shake the race up. She has to raise doubts about Obama and get Democrats to rethink whether they really want to rally behind him," CNN senior political analyst Bill Schneider said.

...or will she have something up her sleeves?
Join in the pre-game show with your predictions of what her strategy will be. Here is my tip on what to watch for:
If she starts out all lovey and nice, she is begging for the VP slot. If she goes after his record (or lack thereof), he will counter with the same to point out that she hasn't done anything either.
The minute she says "for 35 years..." it's over. The debate, the election, and her chance for POTUS.
awaiting the last two turkeys to jump.
She could ask Obama to explain his Global Poverty Act. That ought to ruffle some feathers.
LOL, perfect.
How many times have these two already debated? 18 maybe? One wonders why anyone would tune in.
She will play the gender card tonight. It might work, it might not, but it will be bold.
As HL Mencken said, woman fights from a dreadnought, man from an open raft.

So are they going to have a snowman ask questions?
You’re right - screw ‘em.
My time would be better spent at my reloading bench.
Semper Fi,
The one and only reason I can think of is to play a drinking game...every time the Obamessiah says "hope" or "change" take a swig.
Of course, one would probably be saused after the first 10 minutes.
Hillary has to garner 65% of the delegates in Texas. Fat chance!!! Stick a fork in her, she’s done.
Yes, and they aren’t exactly the Lincoln-Douglas debates in terms of eloquence or philosophical depth.
“Yes. we. can.”
“No. you. won’t.”
“Yuh-huh!”
“Nuh-uh!”
“Ya!”
“No wai!”
. . .
One can only hope.
I suspect that Hillary will not be putting on her lipstick. They just said on CNN that they’ll be speaking at podiums which probably means you have a more fierce debate than when they’re sitting down.
Or, maybe she's just going to stand there and smile and wonder when the wheels started coming off the bus of inevitability.
I don't plan on watching, I'll just check in here from time to time.
All he has to do when she attacks is say your husbands administration was the dirties in our nations history and quite frankley your behavior had a lot do with it.
Interesting, isn't it, how it has come down to this. She must be absolutely furious.
All her years of arrogance go down in flames tonight. Because I believe the March 4 primaries will hinge on what the media will be saying about her this weekend. And what she does tonight will determine that.
Will girlfriend cry during the 1st round or the 2nd...
I read somewhere, can't remember where or I'd link it, that Hillary actually wanted to do a debate a week with Obama. I think she considers the debates her strong point. We'll see.
As God is my witness...I thought turkeys could fly!!! LOL one of the best shows ever WKRP.
Between the two of them, we'll be mumbly mouthed knee walkin drunk..for sure after 10 minutes.

Don't underestimate the enthusiasm that the Dems have for the Messiah. They are flocking to him in droves.
I look for a loud and restless Barock 'n roll crowd tonight. He will look all loosey-goosey, confident and flushed with his successes. She will be steely and prepared.
I wouldn't miss this for the world.
Leni
Its very hard to even an attack line for HRC. She can’t hit Obama on drug use or corruption because they all boomerang. She can’t co-opt the change argument and she can’t out speechify him.
I wonder if she shouldn’t just go for broke and go to the RIGHT of Obama, especially for Ohio and Texas. The only thing I can think of to dent the Independent tide Obama has is to point out the Socialism angle, give up on the far left whackos and see if she can win Ohio and Texas, and squeak by in PA. I truly don’t think many independents realize just how Left Obama is. Sure Hillary is too, but it has never bothered the Clintons to do some dancing on principle beliefs.
Sure it probably won’t work, but I can’t see even another Hail Mary type play for her.
Thanks for the live feed link. Was there a mix up with the ET/CT times? I have ET in the thread title. Hope no one’s confused.
Good one! Got both sides covered now.
How will they respond to Campbell Brown’s surely snarkey question about the lack of character and integrity of John McCain based on the fantastic reporting of the NYTimes paper of record today. You can bet your bottom dollar that CNN will throw a question in there tonight to attempt to diminish John McCain. Clinton won’t be able to response well, but Obama will surely say something about his great character and hope and dreams and lalalalala and Campbell will swoon.
Before the debate, here is some Clinton-mocking entertainment. Leave a nice comment for them if you have a moment. http://youtube.com/watch?v=p0ho_pDH2fU
That would play well if she were a Republican, but to liberals, the Clinton years were nirvana. Obama scores more points when he uses the end of politics as usual offense (it's less specific).
She may not have a bat. But were sure to see a few Claws, Cackles and a few tears. Her political light is fading fast you know its gonna be nasty.
As god is my witness I thought turkeys could fly.
A lot of us here in Texas haven’t forgotten WACO. I know that doesn’t apply to this heavily Democratic audience but there are a lot of us former democrats in Texas.
Great minds, LOL
I’d like to hear Clinton say, “I’m a liberal Democrat and have a liberal record, but this Commie, terrorist-sympathizing fraud makes me look like a right-winger.”
.
Debates and other forms of face time are always desirable to the underdog. She thinks she’s right, he’s wrong. Her handlers think she has nothing to lose, too.
Do you hear that, Mrs. Clinton?
That is the sound of inevitability.
Dang, I was hoping for the crime scene tape number. That's my favorite.
(Is it weird how often she has been seen in yellow lately?)
p.s. If she has already worn it (and been photographed in it) today, she'll change clothes for tonight.
I understand Hillary made some sacrifices before tonight’s debate.
Human sacrifices.
Which techniques will Hillary try to use tonight?
Gender card
Experience card
Sympathy card
Race card
Teary eye
Cackle
Woeful, poor widdle me, I’m just a girl.
[add your own prognostications]
OR, will she have the nerve to do a direct scorched earth, politics of personal destruction aimed at Obama?
Hillary's reaction if and when some defining moment pounds it home that she is NOT going to get HER moment of glory should be most entertaining....
