I pray this wasn’t the result of abuse or rape. I know in some cultures, this is a normal age to begin parenting.

I guess I should have read the story a little closer... Also, this tidbit of info: Provincial authorities donated land and built a house for Pamelas family when the first set of triplets were born. Pamelas mother plans to ask the government for more assistance.

She might have a shot at the record although she may have started a little late..
The largest number of children born to one woman is recorded at 69. From 1725-1765 a Russian peasant woman gave birth to 16 sets of twins, 7 sets of triplets and 4 sets of quadruplets.

I think Pamela’s mother needs to teach Pamela how to keep her legs closed for a while.

Nope. If my daughter got knocked up at 15, I’d have her tubes tied 5 minutes after she delivered. 7 kids by 16 is literally insane. No daddy around and this kid is producing more meat for the prison system in the future.

Was this a case of a virgin birth, or was some male involved?

Was this a case of a virgin birth, or was some male involved? Funny, the BBC reports don't mention the father(s), who is/are morally responsible for these children.

I know in some cultures, this is a normal age to begin parenting. As far as human biology is concerned, this is the most ideal age to begin parenting. Unfortunately, it just doesn't work in a complex modern society where we need a few more years to adequately prepare ourselves to be successful parents.
