Yeah, when you hit these lying, carpetbagger socialists with the truth -— they really squeal like the pigs they are. Come on Osama Obama —— keep the truth after Hitlery -— soon it will be McVain’s turn on Osama. He had better pick up the pace.

Many forget that Rush Limbaugh was all in support of NAFTA too, and said Clinton made the right decision.

For the record, I don’t support NAFTA.

Obama didn’t lie in his mailings as far as I can tell. Hildy has consistently said there will be penalties and “enforcement mechanisms” in her socialized medicine plan to keep people from privately paying. In one interview I personally heard, she even said the penalty might include garnishment of wages.

Someone needs to find the video and do a side by side!

NAFTA is not popular in Ohio...cost that State many blue-collar jobs. Obama's circular merely quotes a 2006 'Newsday' article that summarizes her view as being that NAFTA was a "boon" to the economy. She's livid that Obama's circular doesn't make it clear that SHE is not being quoted, the 'Newsday' article is being quoted.

This is so transparently an ACT, trying to hide her true views about NAFTA from the Ohio voters. Good grief, NAFTA and the Family Medical Leave Act of 1992 are about the ONLY 2 examples imaginable of any accomplishments of the Clintonian dual-Presidency!

J. Lo's movie 'Border Town' dramatizes some of the NAFTA afterbirth. Factories where almost all workers are Mexican women, working long hours for practically peanuts, thousands of whom have been raped & murdered trying to get home from the factories, at night, after their shift ends...

People in Ohio were losing manufacturing jobs a LONG TIME before NAFTA ever came around... high taxes and greedy unions are the problem, not a mushy free-trade agreement.

I know that hurts to hear, but.. it’s the truth. In the 1970’s, the street of Houston were FILLED with “rust-belt transplants”.

The mailing reportedly says that Hillary will force families to buy health insurance even if they can’t afford it.

I do think that’s false. IIRC, Hillary intends to make you and me pay the tab for people who can’t afford insurance.

Right, I am pro free trade, but Clinton does not get to run on “record” and “experience” and then claim to have been against important things done during the Clinton 1990s. One way or the other, but not both.

More importantly it is very very important that the Dim nominee will be the guy who sent out mailers against health care mandates.

On Friday, any new hires at the GM plant my husband works at can expect $14.00 per hour and no benefits. The trade agreements have been unfairly enforced and have cost American jobs. I am not for NAFTA either.

Exactly what I thought. Who is in control and who looks like she’s going off the deep end over a fricken campaign tactic.
It says alot about how she responds to opposition. No way for a true leader to react in any situation.

obama’s use of the word exorcised is hilarious!

When Obama got back “on message” after she had knocked him off it and distracted him, he began to beat her. He has a good deep voice that puts her now squeaky, shrill one in the dust. (She has worn her voice out “projecting” during this campaign. She needs to quit screaming and admit she’s losing her voice, Democrats would understand.) I’m just giving credit where credit is due. Obama had to get on top of that scolding harridan act Hillary was laying on him every chance she got. Obama just comes off as a nice, courteous guy. Would that he were a conservative and didn’t have the Muslim connection in his background. He IS likeable, as much as I hate to admit it.

I'll grant you that cheap foreign imports were part of the problem..... but, you can't say that high labor cost and taxes were not also to blame. It wasn't JUST steel workers that were getting laid off.

Cities were strapping exhorbitant taxes on these cash-cow businesses... and, look what it got them, dead cows.

I have to laugh that Obama keeps portraying Youngstowns woes as a recent development.

The economy was in the tank in 1974 and has been ever since largely due to union mentality.

Hey nafta is a big deal to people living in Ohio and Bill signed nafta into law the day he took office

Well, Bill did not sign NAFT INTO law the day he took office. The U.S. House passed NAFTA on November 17, 1993, by 234-200 vote (132 Republicans and 102 Democrats voting in favor; 156 Democrats, 43 Republicans, and 1 independent against), and the U.S. Senate passed it on the last day of its 1993 session, Saturday, November 20, 1993, by 61-38 vote (34 Republicans and 27 Democrats voting in favor; 28 Democrats and 10 Republicans against, with 1 Democrat opponent not voting).

He pushed NAFTA down the throats of Labor and they still backed him for reelection in 1996. Serves 'em right.

The alternative to NAFTA, which placed jobs into Mexico, was no-NAFTA. Without NAFTA the jobs would have moved to Asia and Asian workers are less likely to buy American products in return when Asia products are cheaper.

Probably 50% of retail sales in U.S. counties bordering Mexico are from Mexicans.Whether they are spending their money on American vs. Asian consumer goods is another story. Sufficed to say NAFTA was not as bad as the alternative.

Nonsense, it’s alway a blame the union thing. The union can be pains, but it doesn’t matter when foreign competitors are allowed to dump on American markets. As of Friday, in the GM plant my husband works at as an engineer new hires will be paid $14.00 per hour with no benefits. The union agreed to this.

Maybe you think this is good; I don’t. We are going to get some kind of health care plan for sure now that good paying jobs have been eliminated, are in the process of being eliminated or shipped overseas.

It’s not just NAFTA. The whole free trade thing has hurt American business. All the promises about global trading were big fat lies. the fat cats in both parties became wealthy and the average worker lost big.

I say Obama has one thing right...tax the heck out of companies that move jobs overseas. Why should we be forced to choose between bad alternatives? Every other country protects its’ industry. The government has only a short term view point about trade and is willing to destroy its manufacturing base and ultimately this country in order to run up short term profits.
