A Rash of New Sites Throws Some Cold Water On the Hot Candidate
It's the nature of the Web -- and, really, of life. What goes up must come down. What's popular becomes too popular. What's seen as hip and hot and cool eventually gets mocked.
Even, yes, Barack Obama.
In recent days, sites have popped up indicating that the ongoing online Obamamania has hit a wall. What kind of wall? A snarky, ironic, this-Obama-thing-has-gotten-over-the-top wall. Obama's smiling mug is mashed up on countless faces on SenatorObamas.com. He's Sumobama. He's Pharaohbama. He's Navajobama, complete with a blue-and-white feathered headdress. The blog Is Barack Obama the Messiah? features a photo of the Illinois senator standing on a flight of stairs, Christlike, above an adoring crowd while a ray of light beams from above.
And on the aptly titled Web site BarackObamaIsYourNewBicycle.com, the candidate caters to all your needs: Barack Obama made your bed . . . Barack Obama folded your laundry . . .

Using my vast and uncompromised ‘mom’ skills and experience, I can tell you that fevers break...and then you have a period of recovery. So is Hillary being nice now because she is going to be the one to feed America Jello and chicken soup when ObamaMania is over?

I’ve been trying to figure out who Obama reminds me of. He struts around with an arrogant self-confidence which is eerie when you consider that he’s only 46 years old with little political experience or accomplishments. He must have an enormous ego that allows him to behave without any modesty or apparent self doubt. He reminds me of Louis Farrakan and the Nation of Islam flunkies that follow him around. The same strutting with the chin in the air, the same superior manner. I think this is enormously appealing to people who derive their sense of identity and belonging by attaching themselves to charismatic figures who promise to take care of them. A David Korish, or Jim Jones, or some of the fascists of the last century.
Isn’t anyone in the news media beginning to feel a little uneasy about this guy? All of these hysterical people falling at his feet almost worshiping him. Is this what Americans want as a president? Some messianic figure who excites this kind of mass adoration? It’s scary.

I don’t understand why Obama is in this race at all. Granted her highness has a very high negative, someone had to convince Barry that he could get the nomination in spite of the preprimary inevitability. There must be some in the Bolshecrat party that hate her as much as real people. And, she probably calls them friends. Soros likely has all of Russia on the internet sending pledges to Obama.
One day this will all hit the fan. The emotion will die down and the crimes will surface.

Call me crazy for thinking this, but with Hillary’s past coziness with McCain combined with the bad feeling between her and Hussein, if the empty suit gets the RAT nomination, I can see Hillary throwing her support to McCain.

Only this morning, 10 mortar rounds were lobbed into the Green Zone of Baghdad.
Just imagine that, 5 years after Pearl Harbor, island insurgents were still lobbing rockets made in Bora Bora into downtown Honolulu.
McCain offers the people 95 more years to wrap it up...sending, presumably, even our grandchildren's grandchildren to Iraq, to perform dangerous, urban renewal projects that will eventually pacify the locals & win their hearts and minds...

Until someone comes up with a with a credible counter to all this, and Hitlery has failed UTTERLY, and McCain has a lot of change to go through himself, the fuzzy concept of President Barack Hussein Obama emerging from the various HOPENOSIS sessions will continue to clarify among the voting public...
