I bet this admirer of “hard working” illegals has nice smooth, non calloused hands.

Regards

I agree with him. Someone should not live off me if there is a job available.

The jobs weren't great -- the pay was about $8 an hour -- but the chance to get off government assistance should have been attractive, he said.

"We have a shortage of people who want to go out and bust their tails and do the jobs," Jetton said.

Gee, you don't suppose there could be a connection, do you?

make sure American workers are competing on the same ground (whatever that ground is, however silly, if it’s regulation, taxes, law) as illegals and you’ll see things change.

The sick part is American citizens shouldn't have to compete with illegals.

Well, if Americans won’t work for $8.00/hr, raise the minimum wage.

I mean, if a minimum wage law is a good thing, and $8.00/hr is good, $80.00/hr is ten times better!

No! Better, let’s make the minimum wage $800,000/hr!

We can all be millionares!!! < /liberal>

I stated in my post that that HAVE been cases lately where illegals have sued, and won-and I speculated as to whether that would affect their “popularity” with employers.

How utterly racist and anti-American this staetment is! Very revealing, Mr. Jetton. How about they trade you for public officials that actually work for and care about the American public?

Give the $8/hour jobs to welfare recipients first (by order, if necessary.) “At least that way you get something for your money,” as former NYC comptorller Mario Procaccino once said.
