A cynic might translate the national motto, E pluribus unum, as "something for nothing". Now that the stock market and the housing market have failed to give Americans something for nothing, they want something for nothing from the government. The trouble is that he who gets something for nothing will earn every penny of it, twice over...

America has the great misfortune to have encountered Obama at the peak of his powers at its worst moment of vulnerability in a generation. With malice of forethought, he has sought out their sore point.
“Bi-racial” as opposed to “black” is an adjective you’ll never hear used to describe him in the MSM.

The man was so good-looking he was type-cast as the hero in most of his films, even if as the tragic hero as in BLOOD AND SAND.

It is absolutely true that we get the government we deserve. Unfortunately though, it is also true that not all of us deserve the government we get.
I’m watching the US Presidential campaigns with keen interest and a sense of disbelief. It seems that a huge number of American Democrats and Independents might be sending Barack Obama as their candidate to win the White House.

One of the worst kept secrets
This is red meat (or tofu?) for the moonbats, but if he tries to do 10% of this the defense lobby, which is the strongest one in Washington, will have him for lunch. They spread megabucks around to both Dems and Reps. Senator Bill Nelson, for example, will personally have a cow in the Oval Office if Obama tries to cut the space defense budget.
I’ve said before that if Obama wins it’ll be the shortest honeymoon in history as the swooning masses who voted for “change” figure out that their messiah still has to work with the powers that be in DC to get anything done. After a year or two his approval ratings will make Bush look like a superstar.
The thing is, democrats are so typically anti-American, anti-family values, anti-military ands so on, they can’t get elected nationally. Their only hope anymore is someone who is relatively new, with little clout or power to muck themselves up too bad, which is why they’ve “discovered” B. Hussein Obama.
