Planned Parenthood Web Site Advises Teens on Porn Use By Penny Starr CNSNews.com Senior Staff Writer February 26, 2008

(Editor's note: Contains quoted passages that some readers may find offensive.)

(CNSNews.com) - Teenwire.com, the Planned Parenthood Web site that says it was created "to provide medically accurate sexual health information for teens on the Internet," is advising teens that viewing pornography is a normal and "safer" way of enjoying sex.

In a 2007 article, "Birth Control Choices for Teens," the writer for the Planned Parenthood site tells readers about "Outercourse."

Under the subtitle, "lower-risk forms of outercourse," in addition to kissing, masturbation, erotic massage and body rubbing, or frottage, is "fantasy."

"Many couples can read or watch sexy stories or pictures together," the article states. "They can also share or act out sex fantasies. People do it in person, on the phone, surfing the Internet or through e-mail instant messaging."

Another advice piece, "Porn vs. Reality," warns that federal law makes it illegal for anyone under 18 to view pornography; "however, not everyone follows the rules, and you may run across some porn before you turn 18. There are a few things you should know about the images you might see. First of all, many people enjoy pornography alone or with a partner as part of sex play. People have different ideas of what is arousing, and there are many different kinds of porn that appeal to people's different interests."

Well, don’t forget the birth control and abortions as well. Those things have an ability to cut down on teen motherhood.

When you are sitting home at the computer that means you aren’t in the backseat of a car.

Oh I agree. I was being facetious. But the reaction of a parent when they came across it was just as horrified as a parent today finding the history on the cache. When I was 18, my dad found a Playgirl in my car - I’d bought it just because I could - and you’d have thought he found a dead body stuffed in the trunk.

Ah, also meant to add, no one I knew needed instructions on self-pleasuring or dry humpin’ as one poster so succinctly put it. Most figured it out on their own ;)

An interesting example of the slippery slope. I remember when leftwing feminists were all against pornography. There were marches, and Hugh Hefner and Larry Flynt were castigated as very bad men. Now, we're at the point where the Left thinks that porn is pretty cool stuff. It may be illegal for kids, but -- what the heck! -- people ignore rules all the time!

The Left bends relentlessly toward greater and greater evil.

Well, I can’t speak for anyone else, but if it were my call I’d rather subsidize the teen mother than have another baby killed in the womb. So for you, is abortion ok? PP is the leading abortion provider in the country. They shouldn’t get a dime of funding from the taxpayers! I’d rather use the millions upon millions that PP is currently getting and subsized these teen mothers.

Maybe Bill Clinton should write an advice column for this web site.

Thank YOU Mr. Edd. I was offline for awhile there. Good question, and I’ll proceed to the article responses to see if there is an answer from our FReepin’ FRiend.

OkeeeDokeeee! Went to the responses and saw what Philly Nomad wrote as response to your post, and I have decided the person is from some alien planet, thus am dropping the subject. Thanks again for your post.

Well, I look at aborting the same way I look at war. Nobody likes it, but sometimes it’s the best option.

Your profile page says “pro-life for my entire life”! Yet you support tearing apart a human baby (also known as abortion).
Hypocrite.

Oh, I get it. (Thumps forehead.) Of course! Porn reduces sexual activity with a partner. Just like advertising reduces consumer demand.

Of course! The left is all about the destruction of our traditional Western Culture.

Both PP and the ACLU were founded with this goal in mind.
