Either that, his penchant for lying, his marxist policies, or better yet, Larry Sinclair.
Of course Obama was against the Iraq war.
The war was against the economic interests of his patrons.
“WILL DIRTY CHICAGO POLITICS BE THE UNDOING OF OBAMA?”
Not a chance.
If Obamative Action were engaged in multi-volumed videotaped serial child torture, it would not sway his legions of mindless true believers.
After all he is “articulate” and is about “change”.
Sinclai, I heard, didn’t pass the lie detector test.
HE was sandbagged by Whitehouse.com. He is planning on taking a new one, videotaped start to finish.
We can only hope so...
I LOVED Mike Royko. I lived in Chicago during his heyday and looked forward to reading his column daily. Great entertainment.
The more I see of Obama, the more I want to puke. There has to be a way to educate people of the dangers of electing him.
that’s all fine and good...but they better be able to pare this down to a few sentences, or it wont be worth spit.
True. These complicated financial transactions are too complicated for a sound bite. Better to frame it this way.
1. Rezko’s wife gave Obama a $500,000 gift when she bought the vacant lot and sold a strip to Obama. That made the rest of the lot worthless. There’s no way to build on it. There’s no easement or access to the street. It only provides more open space and privacy for Obama. And I suppose she’s paying the property taxes on it every year, so the gift keeps on giving.
2. At the same time, as Rezko is giving Obama $500,000, he is turning off the heat in his tenant’s slum apartments.
That could be made into an effective 30 second spot.
There was a story in the Chicago Sun Times yesterday. The court granted Rezko’s motion to confront the prosecution’s star witness (Stuart Levine) in the Rezko trial about Levine’s drug use. According to Rezko’s filings in federal district court, Levine had a $25 Thousand per month drug habit (coke, meth, Special K, ecstasy, etc.) and had frequent all-night, drug-fueled *** encounters. The document is apparently heavily redacted. Levine has plead guilty to allegations that he and Rezko were the bag men and patronage point men for the Illinois machine.
As to Sinclair, he may not have been telling what he knows but may have been inserting himself into what he heard. It’s looking very ugly. Remember John Mark Karr?
OBAMA - the Chicago connection with Tony R.
BWWWWAAHAAAHAAAAAAAA!
You've got to be kidding! You can't inject a moralistic thought into the realm of liberal politics. This guy's a Democrat. This will only serve as a so-called resume' enhancer. He will probably gain more popularity as a gritty leader able to do anything to get the job done.
In the world of the Democrat, the seriousness of an accusation against a conservative makes the conservative guilty as accused. It will not matter what the outcome of any investigation determines, it only matters what the accusation is.
On the other hand, When a Democrat is accused of a serious allegation, all that matters is whether the person had any good reason for doing what they did. Then they are forgiven by their peers. Whether they were guilty or not is irrelevant.
Yes there is a reason I'm asking.
Yeah—check this out from the Chicago Sun Times via Taylor Marsh

Not him. I post these articles for discussion. Sometimes I comment, sometimes I don’t.
LOL, I thought the same thing, jdm must be Rick Moran or just one of his fans!
I wrote him an email over it - he didn't have the courtesy to reply.
