Is it not a fact that the three Duke lacrosse players were falsely accused of rape by the drug addled stripper? In spite of overwhelming evidence to the contrary they were unjustly arrested. Finally the Attorney General stated they were innocent but the prostitute was never charged for her crimes.
Little known fact: a local boy was also ID’d by the prostitute. She identified four lacrosse players. The local boy was never prosecuted. The boys from DC, NJ and NY were prosecuted.
And no, I am not from DC, NJ, or NY. Fortunately.

We have strayed far from the original subject matter of this topic. I’m sorry that one (1) dumba$$ prosecutor or whatever he was( past tense !! ) offended you. It’s an embarassment to me as a North Carolinian . With that said, the VAST majority of us good ‘ol NC folks are hard workin’, fun & freedom lovin’ people that take very little $hit from the lawless thugs in our midst. I have trained my wife, followed by MUCH practice , and instructed her that should she find herself or me being threatened in a similar situation , to dispatch the bad guy forthwith .... no discussion, debate , etc., even if he’s holding a gun to my head . In fact , if caught in this position ( highly unlikely ) , if possible, I’d light my cigar and wait for the bad guy to “bite the bullet”, as it were. I would not look forward to cleaning up the mess though. I trust her shooting abilities with my life and am confident she would follow though as planned. Had this taken place in or near the “Snooter” home or place of business , tax payer money, valuable police time and effort and all of the assosiated hoopla would have been forgotten by now and know this ladyjane, the bad guy would be in the ground and forgotten as well.
Ahhhh, springtime in North Carolina ..... there is NOTHING like it ! Can’t wait for the dogwoods to bloom and the crappie to start bitin’ ! Bring yer shootin’ irons with ya and come on over .... we ( the wifiepoo & me ) have about 30 acres on the New River with 4 bedrooms ( yes ma’am , with indoor pooper !! ) at the top of the mountain. You are welcome and you’d be hardpressed to find a SAFER place in this country !

FYI they just arrested one of the young thugs who murdered the coed in cold blood over in Chapel Hill. His buddy, another thug, is still at large.
Over by the New River is safe and beautiful. Durham, Raleigh, Chapel Hill and parts of Charlotte are not safe.
