Wasting your time, man. National security is NOT a good enough reason to get anti-McCainites off their pretentious butts.

When McCain shows me he is serious about national security, i.e. illegal immigration, and acts like he wants Conservatives to vote for him, perhaps some will.

So illegal immigration issue = national security? Nothing more to it than that? Right.

Personally not having a President who will deliberately lose another war - to jihadis no less - is pretty important to me. Not to mention things like his positions on national defense.

Damn thing is I had more than once been disgusted with people who come onto say, a (obviously anti-) Michael Vick thread, and these people claim to be anti-abortion; but as opposed to trying to get people to realize they might have some shared compassionate qualities, they came in firing about what jerk offs they were to give a damn about animals while babies were dying. Couldn't do more to turn off potential help. I see how I am doing my own version.

Unbelievable! Obamanation is out of his mind. With Muslim terrorist groups/countries wanting to destroy us now, along with our long standing enemies, (China/Russia/North Korea/Venezuela/etc.) we cannot afford to downsize our military. We must do just the opposite and increase military spending along with maintaining leadership in advanced and improved weapons!

Here's an excellent idea! Cut off all payments to terrorist groups/countries, and use that money to build new and terrifying weapons to use against them!! Then we can strap the traitors in DC to the warheads when we launch them. LOL!

Immigration is not the ONLY issue related to national security, but it is a MAJOR one. Probably half, I'd say. It's pointless to chase terrorists around the globe and then let them in your own back door.

If people are worried about what Obama will do, they should focus those feelings on Obama. If McCain wants Conservative support, he knows how to get it. If he doesn't want it, he doesn't deserve it.

It won't. It will be worse. If McCain cares about this country at all, he'll get busy reaching out to Conservatives, post haste. It's not my job to automatically vote for a particular party's candidate. That's what whiners in the other party do. It's his job to earn votes. Maybe he doesn't think he needs Conservatives, and maybe he's right. He better be right.

None of the 911 terrorists came in through Mexico. What's immigration got to do with Iran having nukes in the near future?
