"The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to allow the subject races to possess arms. History shows that all conquerors who have allowed their subject races to carry arms have prepared their own downfall by so doing."
- Adolf Hitler
German Weapons Law
On November 11, 1938, the Minister of the Interior, Wilhelm Frick, passed Regulations Against Jews' Possession of Weapons. This regulation effectively deprived all Jews of the right to possess firearms or other weapons.
History shall repeat itself, and the electorate will by and large stand there and watch it happen.
I don’t know, in this country the majority of the electorate is pretty well-armed.
But who will do anything?
I dont know about you, but I'm hiding behind Secret Agent Man.
What, you going to turn in your weapons?
That is a hysterical quote from Sarandon. God what an airhead.
So that’s where the Dems got their itch about DISARMING the populace...Hitler.
Don’t have any yet.
But when I do, the good stuff won’t be home.
Just for future reference, the right answer is “What weapons?”... ;)
Hitler was a socialist! Check it out.
I thought Hitler was a fascist. Oh well, socialists, fascists, they’re all the same with Obama.
Since there is no direct source quoted, I’ll remain skeptical. There’s loads of Hitler legends running around the Internet.
National Socialism. Broadly Keynesian economics (which I at least consider left-wing), with extremely statist social controls, nanny-state supremacy (anti-smoking, “progressive” traffic safety laws, lots of “for the common good” BS), a strong “safety net”, etc. IMO, that he expanded the German military is not a sufficient condition for placing him on the ‘right’. Sort of the opposite of a hard-core libertarian I suppose.
Yeah, that gun control law was the thing that did in the Jews. Those darn Nazis.
