Behind the School Safety Movement

by: Bethany Stotts, February 27, 2008

Many lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual, and queer (LGBTQ) organizations believe that promoting school safety is essential to their organization’s mission. Ally Action, the Anti-Defamation League, Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network (GLSEN), Out for Equity, Safe Schools Coalition, and the Human Rights Campaign Foundation all consider fostering safe gay-accepting schools a high priority....

The SSC’s “Guidelines on Bias” (pdf) eschews the term “minority” for “non-majority” and considers language labeling minorities as disadvantaged or needy “patronizing” and biased. In an ideal situation, “The right of non-majority people to decide what is best for themselves is acknowledged; the right to protest injustice is honored,” they write (emphasis added). According to the SSC, bias in education promotes (or at least fails to undermine) hatred if it

• “Omits the history, contributions and lives of a group;

• If it demeans a group by using patronizing or clinically distancing language;

• Or if it portrays a group in stereotyped roles with less than a full range of human interests, traits, and capabilities.”....

The Safe Schools Manual, developed by Out for Equity (another coalition member), provides such a template, offering gender-exploring curricula samples for classes of all ages. The K-3 lesson plan, “What is Family?,” encourages teachers to talk about different family structures and how families differ around the world. The objectives are for elementary-age students to

1. “Recognize that a family is a group of people who live together and support one another.”

2. “Recognize that family structures are different.” (emphasis added)...

clinically distancing language

Quite a term, there. I'll assume that means AIDS, HIV, STD, homosexual...

Family structures are not different. Every child has one mother and one father. Every person’s DNA is from one woman and one man. This is how every human that ever was came into existence. Facing reality would be helpful here. But these days truth equals defamation, apparently.

Every person’s DNA is from one woman and one man.

How simple and profound...
Perfect line of argument against anyone that supports anything else except one man and one woman as a definition of marriage, and of one man and one woman and their offspring as a definition of a family.

"...lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual, and queer (LGBTQ) organizations believe that promoting school safety is essential to their organization’s mission"

Can't have the little sweet-meats developing competitive instincts or falling off the monkey bars and getting hurt before the indoctrination is complete and they are ready for harvesting.

All children need to be rescued NOW from global government indoctrination centers (public schools).

How’s this for safety? BAGLY (Boston Area Gay Lesbian Youth) has a “Prom” at Boston City Hall every year. No Press, Police or Parents are allowed in. However, adult men in Drag are allowed in. They are called “Allies”. The Security, Transfigured Lesbians with maimed breasts also don’t want cell phones getting in lest someone get a photo of adult men having sex in the rest room with 14 year old boys. Yes, it is happening. Unfortunately my best friend’s son went to one and he told us.

But there are so many different families today ... kids with a single mother or single father. Kids being raised by grandparents. Kids with mom and a stepdad or with dad and a step mom. Kids with adoptive parents. Kids with foster parents. Lots of different family strructures to be found in any classroom. And some of those include kids with gay or lesbian parents. In this day and age it is silly to suppose that even the majority of kids are living with their biological mom and dad under one roof ... 50% of marriages end in divorce. If you want to protect the family, forget the gays and lesbians ... fight divorce!
