It will be no better with McShamnesty. Just a continuation of the last 8 years. With the majority of Americans opposing amnesty, how he EVER came to be our nominee is, IMO, suspect.

I've been wondering the SAME thing! A friend of mine who used to live here, moved to Colorado. She called me today, wondering what happened to AZ?

I have lived here almost two decades, and have never met one person who had any respect for McCain whatsoever. How he keeps getting re-elected, is beyond me (and beyond belief!)

McCain would have been the nominee in 2000 instead of Bush, had he had as many good people running then. This was just a strange confluence allowing McCain to sneak in.

Why don’t they tear down that metal fence around the White House? The “open look” would definitely be more aesthetically pleasing.

I think that McCain will get the nomination, and as much as I dislike him, I hope that he wins. McCain is less bad than Obama and will be vulnerable to pressure from the right. Also, pressure will grow against illegal immigration as the economy worsens.
