I know you posted part of this quote- but for anyone who won’t read the whole piece by Santorum- this deserves it’s own post. Obama stood on the floor of the Illinois Senate to defend this wickedness. Beyond belief. Truly.

Well, he makes it sound like he’s gonna be King of the World, but I’m pretty sure that we’re still a triune government and due process isn’t going away. Not in D.C.
He can say all the crap he wants, but like Pelosi, may not find the constituency necessary to make it happen.

I'm pro-life - not extremist on the issue - but that there is so far beyond the realm of sanity that I cannot comprehend the mentality behind it. A CHILD BORN ALIVE CAN BE DIVORCED ENTIRELY OF THE "MOTHER", there can be no coherent argument leveled even in the name of "choice". As repulsive as the present justifications enshrining abortion as a "right" are, if they are endorsed, the extension of medical/parental sovereignty over the very life of the born child does not even make sense. This is almost to treat abortion as a sacrament, as some religious ritual which all have the "right" to partake in. There is no possible medical issue that they can pretend this is about. Another circle down the toilet bowl. Sickening.
So, what’s his holeiness plan to do with all the injured vets coming home then? They’re not the unborn, but they are cast down, and some, discouraged about what’s happened to them. Do they get sent down river with the rest of us....
Then again, we can beat the drum for New Orleans and claim our millions $$.
I for one am seething about the education sessions for those of us who would need re-education about helping out in the community for 1 month/year. Who has time with working over 40 hours, family, chores, house, etc.? He wants one month of community service from us, too, along with the .7% for the UN, $.30/gallon gas tax for whoknowswhat and Godonlyknowswhat for groceries, prescriptions, clothing, utilities, etc. You know. Luxuries.

Obama is neither vacant nor dumb. He is very, very shrewd. He is playing the race issue brilliantly. One thing he clearly understands well is race in America (and even better, race in the democratic party).
In addition, he was a bit awkward in public initially, and he has proved himself to be a very fast learner at how to present himself on the stump.
He has probably knocked off Bill and Hill, and that is a huge victory for a relative neophyte. The two of them don't really know what hit them. Obama has them boxed in every which way; whatever they do to try to counter him rebounds to Hillary's disadvantage.
No, Obama is not dumb; he is brilliant, charming, possibly unscrupulous, and very dangerous.
He is possibly not unbeatable, but McCain ahd his advisors will have their work cut out for them in the general election. I hope they appreciate what they are up against (and I bet they do). Can he box McCain in the same way he has Hillary? With the steady help of the press, possibly he can. I hope not.
It is sick and disturbing. It's seems almost Islamic in its harshness.

Agree. Look at the Lacy Peterson murder case. Scott Peterson was charged with two murders, because he also killed his unborn, but near full-term son, Conor.

One thing he’s not is original, now that he’s getting questioned on substance, ( rather than feel good emotion ), all that’s coming out of his mouth is the standard 1970’s era left wing babble. “Class Warfare, go after the have's , Government will solve all your problems....yadda, yadda, yadda”. He is very beatable, and knocking off the Clintons was no great task, even the Dem’s are tired of their same ole, same ole.
My guess, Obama v McCain in November.....won’t even be close
