Virtually all polls have stated otherwise. And, there is no question Hillary has far greater negatives and is far less charismatic and likable.
Stupid GOP thinks that the crossover Democrats in the 2008 GOP primaries are going to vote for McCain in the Fall.
They won’t.
What I don't understand is why you think Obama is any better than Hillary and why you don't realize he is much harder to defeat in a general election.
So, they are going to stick us with a more liberal candidate that is harder to beat. Brilliant!
I'm voting for Romney. That way I can try to prevent either McCain or Huckabee getting a majority in my congressional district or in the state. If a candidate gets a majority in a congressional district, that candidate wins all the delegates. This is also the case with the at large part of the delegation. If any primary candidate gets more than 50% of the vote state wide, all the at large delegates will go to the winning candidate. If no candidate gets a majority, then the delegates will be divied up proportionally among the candidates getting 20% or more of the vote. I want McCain's feet held to the fire a little longer.
And I'll be voting for a black man for party candidate in the primary, Alan Keyes. He won't ge the nomination but he is a conservative and I don't want McCain and the party bosses using Huckabee as VP to "win" me over. I want someone else.

And they will deal with Obama in November. They certainly won’t vote for him.
I voted on Super Tuesday and my vote didn’t count (the ones I had left to vote for, and who I voted for of those left, dropped out). If NJ’s primary was now, I would have switched and voted for a dem possibly.
Amazes me, a State like Texas, doesn’t even have a choice since most dropped out on both sides after Super Tuesday. Our primaries are screwed up imo.

But the latest poll says 20% of white Democrats will vote for McCain if he is the nominee.
And that may be what it takes to get this country back on track.
The Socialist Party has infiltrated the Democrat Party and the Democrat Party has infiltrated the Republican Party. Time to start pushing back.

By staying in the Republican Primary, I’ll also be able to knock some other Republicans off the fall ballot or see that some get on.
If I knew more Democrats to vote against in the Primary, I might have more reason to cross over.
Oh and listening to Hillary right now on TV. She’s a woman. She’s the first woman to get this far. She’s struggling. It’s hard. Being a woman. (according to her). She makes me gag.

The Obama Republicans are NOT like the Reagan Democrats who voted for Reagan in the GENERAL ELECTION TWO CAMPAIGNS IN A ROW.
I agree, we want Obama in November. What we don’t want is for the Dems to have a presumptive nominee until April or May.
If Obama makes it to the generals and loses, he is done. He is young and if Hillary wins he will be back to fight another day. He loses in the generals he is finished. I see him as far more dangerous than Hillary and that is saying something. I want him out for good. But let them sweat it out and McCain should try to keep his yapper closed if he can. Trading shots with Obama gives him credibility as if he is the nominee. Ignore them both, don’t fire till you see the whites of their eyes. :)
If Obama wins the Democrat nomination, McCain will win big. The middle 20% of the public will heavily favor him over Obama.
Actually, McCain will loose because the majority of Republicans do not support him and Obama will be our next President.
President Obama will be a "light weight" and easy to manipulate by the Republicans in Congress.
The alternative of a combined Hillary and Bill Clinton President is too horrifying to even contemplate.

The other side IS electrified but it’s electrified by loony leftists. They aren’t the majority vote, imo.
There’s still 8 months til the general. Lots of time.
