I have Vista on a cheapie laptop I got for the few times I have to have Windows, and while it seems fairly stable, it's annoying as h#ll. I feel like I'm playing "Duck Hunt" trying to close all those crappy little balloons that pop up all over the place. "A program is starting. Do you want to continue?" "A program is closing. Do you want to continue?" "Here's a popup menu just for the h#ll of it! Do you want to continue?" "Internet Explorer is not your default web browser! Have you been cheating on me with that Firefox tramp again?" "There's a new update! It makes more pop up Windows pop up! Do you want to install it?" "Windows Defender is not compatible with your current security software!"

On the other hand, the clock works fairly well.
