Hearing LEOs went in in riot gear, reporting multiple fights, and FOX showing about a dozen Black students being brought out in handcuffs.
I guess it’s a secret in regards to why this occurred.

Police descend on Miami Edison Senior High
MIAMI HERALD STAFF
More than a dozen police cruisers rushed to Miami Edison Senior High School Friday morning after a fight broke out in the campus courtyard.
One man, possibly a plainclothes officer, was seen limping out of the school at 6161 NW Fifth Ct. At least one person needed to be hospitalized.
Several students, boys and girls, were seen taken out of the school in handcuffs.
No other details were immediately available.

Teenager shot trying to break up school fight

Javaris Cross, devout Baptist teenager, gospel fan, musician, was helping to break up a fight outside the Miami Norland Senior High band room when students began stampeding.
He ran, too. Then someone noticed the blood.
Javaris had been shot in the left ear.
His shooting Thursday — he’ll survive — marked the second attack at a North Miami-Dade school over two days.
Somebody must’ve said another guys middle name.
Probably just a bunch of snot-nosed brats rioting because the adults won’t let them vote for Obama.

Chopper pictures from the scene show people who appear to be students being led away in handcuffs, and there were unconfirmed reports that shots had been fired at the school.
Looks like the story’s been pulled. The links go nowhere.
Either it was a misunderstanding (hmmmm) or they’re hushing it up for now.

Yeah, we saw and heard that. Also some reports that some might have been injured in a stampeded possibly attempting to flee from gun fire.
Miami Edison is difinately one of those “bad” schools.
And come on now, if any of those guys are “ballers”, Urban Meyer will be recruiting them too.

Too much fuss is being made out of what is just part of the critically important, or importantly critical, socialization process for which public schools are famous.

Per FOX- Three policemen and one student injured, no shots fired, no life-threatening injuries.
The students were fighting the cops.
Got -way- out of control. MPS put in a cell phone ban but it is widely ignored and not enforced.
Only a handful of arrests and we are waiting for the inevitable repeat and escalation.
This speaks volumes about the situation with the schools there...
Anyone with any brains in Miami sends their kids to Belen Jesuit (founded originally in Havana), Ransom, Gulliver, or Pace.
They are having problems in Philly too.I think once the word gets out that they are not going to get away with this it will stop.It’s the cool thing to do right now.

Stretchers were brought in but seeing only one asthma victim and one adult with a twisted ankle injured so far. Students claiming they were pepper sprayed and tasered. Authorities denying that. But now these commercials!

The joys of a multiethnic society. America has become another splintered Balkanized country, rather than a homogenous melting pot. I have sadly concluded that too many people, perhaps a majority, will never shed tribalism for a higher plane of thinking. I think it goes beyond basic human nature to desire or trust anyone outside of our own group.
