I thought Hillary would be easier than Obama to beat, then along came The Photo, which was clearly doctored -- the suicide belt was removed!
It shows Obama decked out in Muslim garb during his '06 trip to Kenya to interfere in Kenya's politics. Whip out a red-states/blue-states '04 election map and see how many red states flip to blue because Obama looks cool in a Muslim get-up. In the past, Democrats got blown away with lesser stuff -- Muskie crying in the rain, Gary Hart on the Monkey Business, Dukakis in a helmet, riding on a tank, Kerry in a Woody Allen sperm suit.
On the bright side for Obama, the photo did get him Farrakhan's endorsement. The press insists Farrakhan's endorsement wasn't an endorsement since it wasn't "explicit" -- plus Farrakhan didn't mention Obama can heal the sick.
In his impassioned 'non-endorsement', Farrakhan said Obama "could turn out to be the one who can lift America from her fall," and that "if you look at [Obama's diverse] audiences," especially the white devils, "those people are being transformed from" their white devilish ways. Farrakhan added that Obama is the "hope of the entire world," apparently alluding to his foreign policy, which consists of looking wimpy in foreign costumes and chatting with Cuba, Syria and Iran -- which is what Obama means by 'reaching out and working with the other side.'
Hillary's reaction to The Photo was to e-mail it to Drudge. The poor little darling forgets she's running in the Democrat primaries, where bagging Farrakhan's endorsement, donning a white turban in what looks like an al-Qaeda fitting room and having a middle name like 'Hussein' are just awesome! Democrats just adore that middle name. We toppled one Hussein from power and Democrats want to put another one in.
Or maybe Hillary was just trying to shore up her base. Come to think of it, it's getting hard to tell if those Hillary town halls are town halls or Klan rallies.
The Obama camp reacted to the photo's release by noting that Obama was simply wearing Somali clothing in accordance with local customs, then hysterically denounced the photo for engaging in a 'racial slur' which constitutes "the most shameful, offensive fear-mongering" because it depicts Obama wearing Somali clothing in accordance with local customs. The photo could not be reached for comment.
The Clinton camp reacted to the Obama camp's reaction by not specifically denying it leaked the photo, then denied Obama's accusation they were engaging in fear-mongering by releasing it.
In December a couple of Clinton staffers got canned for circulating a hoax e-mail that claimed Obama is a member of an America-hating racist Muslim cult, which is false -- Obama is a member of an America-hating racist church.
And while we're on the subject of Obama's background, just what was Obama doing back in Illinois as state senator, besides getting crooked sweetheart deals from Rezko, "my friend"? I report, you decide! As state senator, Obama:
-- Voted against requiring medical care for babies who survive an abortion because he doesn't think the baby is a baby and saving a dying baby would interfere with a "woman's right to choose" and that it's not infanticide. Bringing America together, that Obama.
-- Racked up a 100 percent rating from the Illinois Planned Parenthood Council, as all "moderates" do.
-- Voted against limits on government funding of abortion and voted to get Illinois to endorse embryonic stem cell "research".
-- Voted against letting people use a gun in self-defense in their homes if the gun violated an insane local handgun ban.
-- Voted to limit handgun purchases to one per month.
-- Sponsored a law enforcement study of traffic stops to find evidence that minorities get pulled over because they're minorities, not because they just ran a stop sign and broadsided a school bus.
-- Voted against the death penalty for gang members who murder so long as the murdering is done to help their gang members.
-- Voted to hike more than 300 taxes and fees on businesses in 2004 alone. But to show he cares about the little people, he voted to bring back a 5 percent sales tax on gasoline.
-- Voted against parents getting tax credits for sending their children to private school.
In Washington, Obama got rated the most left-wing member of the U.S. Senate in 2007 (National Journal) -- after rolling up ADA ratings of 95 for '06, 100 for '05. On the basis of this voting record, he's called a "moderate".
His record on ethics is questionable at best. In fact, major anxiety gripped his small circle of advisers during his first state senate campaign, when this hot female lobbyist babe began to show up at fund-raisers and his senate office, forcing his top advisers, convinced the relationship might (or might not) had become romantic, to intervene to protect Obama from himself, this according to my sources who wish to remain anonymous -- oops, hold on, for a minute there I thought I was a New York Times reporter doing an 'objective' profile! Never mind.
Meanwhile, speaking of the New York Times, the New York Times reports that Hillary has decided to unleash "what one Clinton aide called a 'kitchen sink' fusillade against Mr. Obama, pursuing five lines of attack," hoping to stop "his political momentum."
But right there she botches it again. The mistake wasn't that she didn't go medieval on Obama as an empty swimsuit who gives fluffy speeches. The mistake was being too stupid to figure out it's tough to beat someone who's running in full glare on a platform of 'I'm Not Hillary' in a party with Clinton hangover even 8 years on. And when 'rat primary voters keep getting told, 'no problem, November's in the bag,' running on 'electability' won't work either, so naturally the incompetent Cackles ran on electability. And if you're also running on 'experience' it's a problem if you keep having to repudiate your experience. No Child Left Behind? Oops, mistake. Bankruptcy reform bill? Oops, didn't vote, mistake. Iraq War. Oops, would take it back -- George Bush fooled me. Free Trade? Oops, another mistake. Obama's running on, 'I wrote a couple of books, give hopeful speeches, hold revival meetings, passed an ethics bill, so I'm tested!', and he's running circles around the USS Hillzabubba.
Both are socialists -- Hillary the Hugo Chavez version of it, Obama the Che Guevara version -- but one is running on windy 'I will supply hope that will change America' fluff that's hard to pin down, while the other can't keep her mouth shut with those yawn-o-rama 12-point mandated plans for this and that.
If your party got creamed in seven of the last ten elections, and you want to go for eight, either of these two clowns fit the bill. With Obama, the Democrats have cobbled up someone dumber than Jimmy Carter and Hillary's the ice queen. Neither is electable and the kitchen sinking goes on if Obama ekes it out in Texas but Hillary ekes it out in Ohio. Then it's on to Pennsylvania!
Since neither one reaches the magic 2,025, this goes all the way to the convention with the party's Supreme Soviet of super-duper delegates getting in on the action. To seat or not to seat Michigan and Florida. Count every vote. Pass the popcorn.

Excellent. More ammunition to use today on a friend who went from a staunch republican to Obama supporter. Last time, when I asked my friend to tell me one thing Obama has accomplished, my friend replied, ‘why do accomplishments matter?’. Today, he will get both barrels.
