He is making freindly gestures towards Texas Republicans. He knows they can help bury this evil witch forever. I hope and pray Pubs show up and finish Klinton off.

They are delusional if they think that Chuck Hagel will have any influence on Republican voters.

Then, Obmabi will change his mind in another day or so. Meanwhile, he’ll “borrow” from some other politicians’ speeches...

Then, Obmabi will change his mind in another day or so. He sure will, all he's been talking about is CHANGE So he'll
just attribute it to his policy of change....lol

“I thought Chuck Hagel is a democrat.”
He is, an activist one to boot. Perfect for Obama’s new vision for AmeriKa.
Somehow, he got an (R) after his name though.

Somehow, he got an (R) after his name though. He was running from Nebraska; that's why.

Democrats pick Republicans for Secretary of Defense because they don’t have a clue as to what national defense is about.

I read that article, or rather, tried to read it, and the premise, “Che’ willing to choose Republicans to run National Defense”...the unsaid is “Because no one trusts me to handle it” is the obvious real point.
That is the sort of crap that Media people lick up, but is politically impossible to actually accomplish.

“He was running from Nebraska; that’s why.”
I could see if he was a “Republican” from Massachusetts, or one of the other socialist eastern disgrace states, but once upon a time, Nebraska was part of the “conservative west”.

Hagel? He may say he is a Republican, but most Republicans know better.

"Obama is hoping to appoint cross-party figures to his cabinet such as Chuck Hagel, the Republican senator for Nebraska and an opponent of the Iraq war, and Richard Lugar, leader of the Republicans on the Senate foreign relations committee."
Luger and Hagel. Not surprised at all.

Hagel and Lugar are CFR RINOs. The one-party government continues.

I don’t. I want her comcpetitive and both of them at each other’s throats for a while. I want a political bloodbath at the dem convention.
But I do understand the “take her out - leave no doubt” feelings. I could certainly live with her being taken out. :-)

Has anyone noticed that this (promising to pick people for your team from the opposition party) seems to have become de riguer during the last several election cycles?
I imagine it is supposed to show just how bipartisan and open minded candidates are, but it does nothing for me, regardless of which side does it.
Yuck.
