Well, this is an out-and-out lie. Obama was born a Muslim and grew up a Muslim, was identified on the school rolls as a Muslim, studied the Koran, and attended services in a mosque.
This is much like the problems I had with Mitt Romney. I might have believed him if he had admitted "I said that then, but I believe this now." Instead he repeatedly lied about what he had said and done earlier. That pretty much removes any credibility.
But with Obama the matter is far more serious. If he is flat out lying about his past, then he can be presumed to be lying about his present. Ergo, he IS a Muslim. Because this is precisely what Muslims are taught to do: lie, lie, and lie to the Infidels.
I don't know why on earth this writer for the post is saying that Obama was never a Muslim as if it were a fact, rather than an assertion by Obama that is KNOWN to be false.
I heard a caller on Rush last week say that on page 80 of Obama’s book...IIRC it was ‘Audacity of Hope’...that O says the only way for the black man and the white man to be reconciled is for both to convert to islam. Does anyone have his book? Is this true?

They are different churches entirely. Anyone making the argument in a Church of Christ (below) that the Sermon on the Mount justified homosexual marriage would be politely, but firmly, shown the door.

I was under the impression that any mention of "God," the Bible, or anything religious, in conjunction with politics and especially, elections, was verboten.

No, he isn’t a devout Christian. The Ten Commandedments tell us to keep holy the Lord’s Day.
So.....................if he only goes to church “when he can”, he doesn’t keep this Commandment.
He also has some other reckoning to do.

He will not be able to lecture God at the moment of his death when he finds out that he was headed in the wrong direction all his life and caused others to sin by voting for him.
Death. Any Muslim who converts in a Muslim country is at considerable risk of death. If a Muslim converts in a western country, their friends and family are likely to kill them, but it can be possible to get away with it if other Muslims don't know about it.
But if a prominent Muslim offends in this way, a fatwah will be issued against him, as was done with Salman Rushdie. And who could be more prominent in his supposed "conversion" than Barack Hussein Obama? They can't necessarily kill him, because he's surrounded by Secret Service agents and police, but they would certainly threaten to do so.
So the question arises, why hasn't a fatwah been issued against him? Why aren't his family disowning him? I think the answer is becoming clearer and clearer as the facts emerge.

My question was rhetorical to some extent, since I have feared for some time that we are being led down a primrose path, especially given the nature of “taqqiya”.
I hate getting into the business of conspiracy theories, since so much of that seems utterly insane, but you have to wonder why none of this has been pointed out by the religious authorities and so-called “guardians of the faith” (Islam, that is).
