Kenyans must share in Obama glory-Obama baseball card beats Clinton card-Obama thanks Obama {Japan}

Let the world be put on notice that Kenya will share each and every piece of Senator Barack Obama’s success.

He owes his ancestry to Kenya, and that is made clear in his book; Audacity of Hope and Dreams from my Father.

There are claims from Kosovo that a family is genetically linked to Obama in a distant ancestry. A town in Japan is every time tickled by wins to clean sweeps made by Senator Obama, from Super Tuesdays to Potomac in Democratic primaries. Senator Obama is an exceptional concoction of humility and excellence as shown by victories from north to south, east to west, coast to coast and to the centre.

Indeed his inspiring and moving speeches, reminiscent of those made by John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King, have put him in the league of the great in the history of America.

The senators from Illinois and New York may be battling over a close delegate count in the Democratic Party’s campaign for president, but the limited-edition series of Obama campaign cards is outselling the limited-edition Clinton cards at auction online, according to Topps, maker of baseball cards.

The 2008 Series 1 baseball cards include some presidential campaign cards, autographed, of course.

An Obama card, limited to a printing of 15, just fetched $3,122.99 on eBay, according to Tops. A Clinton card, limited to 18, was purchased for $1,325.

Republican Sen. John McCain’s card is trailing, Topps reports, with bidding at $1,200 and five days left in the auction.

“As Obama’s popularity continues to increase, so do the value of his cards – and fans are willing to pay for them,” says Clay Luraschi, Topps’ Baseball Brand Manager.

The company’s limited “Presidential Cut Signature Collection’’ features autographs from five different presidential candidates: Obama, Clinton, McCain, John Edwards and Fred Thompson.

Obama, Japan - The fishing town of Obama in central Japan recently won worldwide fame for its fervent support for US presidential candidate Barack Obama. The town's citizens have made headbands, T-shirts and sweet bean cakes decorated with his portrait. The town's mayor even sent gifts.

Now, on the eve of crucial primaries in Texas and Ohio, the mayor of Obama the town is all smiles after hearing from Obama the man.

Mayor Toshio Murakami said on Tuesday he received a letter a day earlier from Obama in response to a letter, DVD and lacquerware chopsticks he sent the candidate more than a year ago.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation to the city of Obama for your support and encouragement and thank you for your thoughtful gift," the Democratic front-runner wrote in a letter mailed from Washington carrying a February 25 postmark.

"We share more than a common name," Obama wrote. "We share a common planet and common responsibility. I look forward to a future marked by the continued friendship of our two great nations and shared commitment to a better, freer world."

Town officials said they believed the letter was genuine, although they had not verified it. They said they were concerned that it would be impolite to ask the candidate's office.

Sadakazu Tsubouchi, a city hall official, said the address on the letter was the same as the mayor's gift had been sent to, and that the Obama letter bore a handwritten signature.

"I have the impression that he is sincere," the mayor said at a press conference. "Once the people of Obama have learnt about the letter, I am sure they will feel more friendly to him and cheer for the candidate."

Supporters in Obama - which means "Little Beach" in Japanese - plan to gather at a community centre to watch a live broadcast of Tuesday's primaries.

...But, when Raila Odinga, the man who lost the election folks think he should have won, was looked at, things in the political landscape of Kenya suddenly came into focus as Dick Morris had, apparently, been helping out here and there for awhile now.

So when you see things like Orange Democratic Movement (hearkening over the the Orange Revolution in Ukraine), a 'million person march' ala Louis Farrakhan's march and then other million person marches afterwards, and National Rainbow Coalition (Narc) hinting at Jesse Jackson's Rainbow Coalition/PUSH, things did start to fall into place. Dick Morris is a past master at playing on such themes and would avail himself of any indigenous views along similar lines and help to make such things more palatable to the US political palate.

Mind you these Kenyan versions have zero connection to the things they try to lead one to, but that isn't a worry if you are pushing talking points and not substance.

Abdulkader Al Bakri listed as a defendant in the First Amendment Complaint suit brought by various insurance companies against al Qaeda and associated organizations and individuals. Within that suit is mentioned documents (known as the Golden Chain document) picked up by Bosnian police on a raid on a charitable front organization for al Qaeda in Sarajevo. One of the listed documents is the "Tareekh Osama" ("Osama's History") in which Abdulkader al Bakri aka Abdel Qader Bakri gets a prominent listing...

So, when a man like Raila Odinga is linked with Abdulkader al Bakri, you are not making a minor connection, but one directly into al Qaeda.

Such are the vagaries of making political bedfellows in other Nations...
