My theory is that if this isn’t sewed up by the convention, she will be allowed by the superdelegates to run for one term, with Barack as VP and anointed successor.

Good luck, His wife is a conspiracy theorist who hates, loathes, and fears Hillary.

She has been making jokes (off the record) that her husband won't pick Hillary as VP, because she "wants to be first lady, not first widow".

Hillary is also not going to do a one term deal, and Obama and his wife have only run in this campaign because unlike everyone else, they think Hillary can't win the general election, they won't allow themselves to be scapegoats if (when) she would lose.

No way in hell Obama would be Hilary's VP, you're more likely to see Tom Coburn and Barbra Walters then those 2.

Sidenote: In the last 30 years, only twice has the nominee picked someone from the same primary as a running mate, Reagan in '80 and Kerry in '04. Both regretted it.

Whether she hates him or not, she may have to settle to get the superdelegates’ votes. Doesn’t look like the nomination will be clinched by either going into the convention right now. She’ll give up the illusion of a second term to get the first one, and what will Barack do if she runs for a second one? Sue?

He is only running because he thinks she is a sure shot to lose, he isn't going to let himself (actually, his wife won't let) him be the scapegoat for a losing campaign.

Obama isn't going to touch a sure loser, and attach his name to is.....and he is only running because he thinks she is a sure loser.

You would find more freepers who could make a better case of why she could win, then you would of his campaign staff.

7 years ago he was an unknown. My theory is that she only has dirt on people who were predictable to be opponents the last time Bill was in control of the FBI. Obama is not subject to blackmail by the Beast. This makes him very dangerous to her.

She has unloaded alot of dirt on him, its pretty bad stuff too.

I don't know if she had FBI files on him, but dang, she found a treasure chest of corruption on him, the media has simply ignored it.....until now.

Memo to Rush:

I think your stunt was too cute by half.

Hope this one doesn’t end up in the Law of Unintended Consequences casefile.

You’ve identified the problem: helping Hildabeast get the nomination doesn’t get rid of Obama, it simply moves him to the VP slot and, eventually, back into another White House run as an incumbant.

I don’t see any upside to that.

They’ll just put Obama in the VP slot. Problem solved.

Uh, except for the rest of us.

I think talk radio was a big dum bass for pushing this stunt.

McCain could win against Clinton. Though Obama looks weaker by the day—people are starting to look for more specifics. Hard to tell now which would be the easier candidate for McCain to defeat.

By the way, does any freeper suspect vote rigging as an explanation for Clinton's wins?

An actual question.

She won’t have a choice but to ask Obama to be her VP. It’s either that or say buh-bye to a good chuck of his supporters.

However, when I cam back from Vietnam, got stationed at Bergstrom and really loved it, Austin (which I've heard has become quite liberal)and the people.

Around here, we call it Burpelson.

Agreed. Those that are into keeping the Democrats ‘infighting’ could just be setting up the country for a Clinton presidency with Obama as VP, against which McCain almost definitely will not win.

Hillary may have won the popular vote in Texas but there is a two step process in wining delegates.... I have yet to read she actually won the most delegates. Obama is still up on the delegate count.

I agree. I would much rather have Obama win. He’s at worst a naive politician, while Hillary is a sociopathic socialist tyrant. I think Rush has made a big mistake.

The question people have to ask is, what would be the difference between a Obama Cabinet and a Hillary Cabinet? I say, in the end, there would be very little difference.
