(IsraelNN.com) The French Jewish community and local government officials are outraged after it was disclosed that anti-Semitic thugs locked up, brutally attacked and tormented a Jewish youth in the same Paris suburb where Ilan Hamili was tortured to death two years ago. The gang members are aged 17-25 and have been charged with locking up a 19-year-old boy, beating and sexually tormenting him.
The gang had falsely accused the youth of stealing from them and lured him into an apartment of one of the attackers. They scrawled "dirty Jew" on the face of the victim, who was subjected to a nine and a half hour ordeal.
The attack occurred in the Paris suburb of Bagneux, whose municipal officials said, "We are shocked and outraged. We condemn such acts in the strongest term. Our city has values of tolerance, respect of differences, fight against racism, anti-Semitism and xenophobia," according to the European Jewish Press.

Had the thugs been Frenchmen of European ancestry and Christian background, those facts would have been prominently noted. In the MSM, like in the old Soviet press, you can infer more from what is not discussed than from the text of the news item.

I'm not exactly a fan of the French with respect to the current situation, but it should be noted that:
(1) The perps in the large majority of these incidents in France are relatively recent immigrants from Muslim countries and can hardly be classified as "Euros."
(2) Despite these incidents, the Jews of France, while capable of leaving their country, are not emigrating in large numbers. So either most are blind to reality or feel that the situation isn't as bad as many outsiders may think.

Oh, you mean, Nazis defeated American forces in WW2 and occupied New York and Florida and set up a piuppet regime there, but one which bravely resisted some of the demands of their German masters ? Puh-leeeze.
BTW, since French people “gleefully helped Nazis round up Jews to send to the gas chamber”, how come more French Jews survived the war than, say, Polish Jews ? Or Belgian Jews ? Percentile of French Jews surviving the war : 75%. Percentile of Polish jews surviving the war : 10%.

From what I recall, the native-born, Sephardic population in Vichy and in North Africa was largely left alone, while the refugees from Eastern Europe were handed over to the Nazis. Even Mendes-France, a Sephardi Jew, was imprisoned not for being Jewish but for “political agitation” (and he escaped relatively easily).
