How many high-risk registered sex offenders should be allowed to live in the same apartment building?
At 1149 E. 1st St. in Long Beach, where at the same time as many as 19 rapists and child molesters on parole have resided in an apartment building near two licensed day-care centers, the question, and its elusive answer, have become an emotionally charged issue.

Child molesters must be imprisoned for life. They are incurable.
It’s only a matter of time before CA “liberates” them.
Three words: target rich environment.
If they are such a danger we have to know where they live and take steps they don’t cluster....KEEP THEM IN JAIL!!!
Sex offenders are going to live somewhere, and they will always be “near” something.
Imagine if the article said that they were too spread out for law enforcement to keep easy tabs on them.
Isn’t there an island in one of the Great Lakes that is wanted by neither Canada or the USA? We could send them there, or maybe to Bikini, that tropical paridise in the Pacific. Or Plum Island, NY!

Well look at it this way.....at least we (and the police) know where they are. So when they need to be questioned by police they can all be questioned at once and be arrested or ruled out as a suspect. It makes the job of the police much easier. I personally would rather have them in one place than all over town, that was we, as a community could keep an eye on them.
Yes, I would like to keep them in jail for life, however that is not an option at the moment and this is really a better plan if you think about it.
