Can’t wait!!!

THE PRESIDENT: It's been my honor to welcome my friend, John McCain, as the nominee of the Republican Party. A while back I don't think many people would have thought that John McCain would be here as the nominee of the Republican Party -- except he knew he would be here, and so did his wife, Cindy.
We also need somebody with a big heart. I have got to know John well in the last eight years. I've campaigned against him, and I've campaigned with him. Laura and I have spent time in their house. This is a man who deeply loves his family. It's a man who cares a lot about the less fortunate among us. He's a President, and he's going to be the President who will bring determination to defeat an enemy, and a heart big enough to love those who hurt.

CSPAN WILL RE-BROADCAST BOTH THE ‘ARRIVAL’ AND ‘THE ENDORSEMENT’ TONIGHT AT 10 PM EST:
[I just wish the President could run again — at ‘the endorsement’ today, he was the one with the energy and passion (not to mention the ruggedly handsome good looks)!]

SICK AND TIRED OF THE MSM’S CONSTANT REFERENCE TO THE PRESIDENTS “LOW APPROVAL RATINGS”?
Just remember two facts (and remind EVERY ONE you meet, including the intellectual/moral neanderthals here at FR, about these two facts):
1.) The President remains PERSONALLY POPULAR. According to the BattleGround Poll, the President’s PERSONAL APPROVAL RATING remains approximately 60% — Bill Clinton never got a PA rating above 40% (and the MSM claims he was the popular one — yea right, the same guy who couldn’t get 50% of the vote in either of his presidential elections)!
2.) According to today’s RASMUSSEN POLL, the THREE REMAINING CONTENDERS for the presidency already have UNFAVORABLE RATINGS approaching or at 50%. And they have yet either to endure MANY years of constant MSM criticism (in fact, at least one has yet to endure any criticism at all) or to make even one tough ‘oval office’ decision:
52% favorable 45% unfavorable . . . John McCain
50% favorable 48% unfavorable . . . Barack Obama
49% favorable 50% unfavorable . . . Hillary Clinton
[By comparision, President George W Bush is doing just fine — and has TRANSFORMED THE WORLD in the process!]

What a guy our President is! I saw him today sorta doing the soft shoe and he was so funny and cute!
Thanks for all these wonderful pictures. Terrific!
I loved looking at him dancing again. The wind really was terrific out there. His pants were blowing so badly! He is so cheerful...always, no wonder Laura loves him so! I think he is a doll!
Just checking in to say hello!
Great pictures! I sure am going to miss President Bush, but if ever anyone deserved a happy retirement, it is he!
"But they're going to be looking at him. I'm going to be in Crawford with my feet up," Bush said. "He's going to be sitting in behind that desk making decisions on war and peace."
McCain said he had great respect and admiration for Bush.
"I intend to have as much possible campaigning events together as is in keeping with the president's heavy schedule," McCain said.
Lots of great photos today, I agree. It was fun putting it up today. Laura and Condi look great too in their lovely outfits. I really liked the lavender on Condi.
I am so happy you have a beautiful and healthy great granddaughter.
Thanks for the great pictures.
I just love it when there is a side view of the President and that little cowlick is standing straight up. Those are always my favs.
MISS MARPLE!
I’m delighted to see you here, and wish you’d come back more often. We miss your good sense and knowledge.
Strange how they never mention the MSM's "LOW APPROVAL RATINGS" !?!
I will, though. :) 12% give or take a dozen.

His expression is so cute in that photo that I did not notice the cowlick.

Thank you for your work in providing some great pix & great information on the “crew”..
We are spoiled with these presentations.. we truly are (and I like it!)
Cindy McCain is a lovely woman, and will be an elegant First Lady. I only hope she’s half as gracious as Laura has been.
Hi Daisy sorry not around earlier but right in the middle of tidying up middle bed room so decorators can paper and paint.
Have now cleared 3/4 of it and hopefully do the last bit on Sunday morning when our friend Michael is coming round.
If I get a chance I will do the toasters tomorrow night if not will gradually get them done over the next few days.
Sorry I have not been around since Monday but have been working on the house getting ready for the decorators and by the time I have finished I have just crashed out. Only waking about now and deciding do I get up or go back for a couple of hours.
See you all tomorrow night when I am going to take a break from doing things around the house.
Yes, Cindy McCain is very attractive.
The cow was called ‘Gozu’.
