Actually, some action like this may turn out to be a good thing in the long run. Let’s those who hate the military start this nonsense. It will get them all labeled as terrorists.

Isn’t it amazing what peaceniks will stoop to. (As if...)

Was it a cherry bomb, a silver salute, or dry ice in a pop bottle?

An incendiary device, is all I know.

Per Fox News link, another unexploded device has been found at the scene.

Hope they clear this up soon. My office is just a few blocks from there, and I take the subway line that runs right under Times Square.

May the perp(s) be caught and dealt with. NYC is a very lefty liberal place on the whole, but since 9/11 the attitude towards any kind of terrorism is quite hawkish.

CNN.com: Authorities said the blast occurred around 3:45 a.m. Witnesses described the explosion as small, according to The Associated Press. There were no images of serious damage or evidence of injuries in footage from the scene. Police and fire squads were in the area around West 43rd Street. They gathered outside a military recruiting station with a large hole in the front window, the AP reported.

OPINON:

I’m sure the area needs to be checked thoroughly before reopening to the public.

Fox & Friends said that a man on a bicycle was seen throwing an object into the office door. From the sketcy details dont know if they got him or not. May have found another bomb unexploded.

Since it's NYC I'm not so sure - a co-worker of mine moved down to DC from there and said that they don't even have sparklers. Not that they couldn't zip over to Pennsylvania (maybe NJ, too) and get some, but if you don't grow up with a tradition of fireworks, it's not the first thing you think of when you're looking for disruption opportunities. Trashcan fire, maybe.

WOW that is LAME. his successor Bloomie, has been in office since January 1 2002, right after 9/11.

Giuliani is not presidential material at all but given what he had to work with...he was a friggin genius in stopping crime in NYC. You really have no idea do you?
