A couple of days ago there was a report based on a youtube video of a couple of marines throwing a puppy off a bridge. Of course CNN was quick to pick up on the story. Snopes has it listed as unconfirmed, however, a video was taken and is being investigated. Several freepers analyzed the video to what ever extent possible and believe it is staged to draw outrage at the military. Significantly, no uniform markings are visible, no doppler effect on the sound the puppy made during the fall. Regardless of all that, I wanted to gather as much positive press as I can to demonstrate that, overwhelmingly, our military should not only be held in high esteem, but also that they, as a whole, have a high regard for all life.
